Questions & Answers

Question: Hi, what are the optional experiences for this tour?

For more information on optional tours, please give us a call at 1-800-935-2620 and speak with a travel consultant.

Question: When it says view, is it just ride by on the bus or walk by on walking tour? Do we actually go inside to really see these buildings?

CostSaver practices Visit, View and See. Anytime you see the word Visit you go inside, anytime you see the word View you walk near the landmark but don't actually go inside, and anytime you see the word See you simply drive by the location and see it from the tour coach.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?

Each person is allowed one "check-in," and one "carry-on." Remember to take all valuables with you as "carry-on", because electronic equipment, cameras, laptops, jewelry, business documents and money are not covered by the airlines' liability, so always carry them aboard with you.

Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?

Airfare from your point of origin to and from the trip is not included in the land price.

Didn't meet staff the first day, the last day was only half day. We didn't visit some places from itinerary - just passed them. Bus was going the whole time on a highway- we didn't see any scenery.

By Bettye R on Jun 09, 2019

This was my first Costsaver tour and it was amazing. Our consultant, Maureen and tour guide Rose were top notch, extremely knowledgeable, and true professionals. I will definitely use Costsaver again!

By Laurette K on Dec 20, 2018

I prefer a step up on accommodations

By Frank S on Aug 31, 2018

Fantastic trip, we enjoyed all aspects of the travel, coach was clean and comfortable. Each city offered some free time for my wife and I to explore on our own, would recommend to others

By Allyson S on Aug 24, 2018

Some of the rooms were substandard and the Costsaver staff did NOT do much to accommodate a disabled person with mobility limitations--including arranging for rooms with walk in showers for safety, or arranging to porter bags the final day. NONE of this was Ms. Sharara's fault, in my opinion, but that of the Costsaver staff.

By Richard R on Jun 15, 2018

Good trip. Itinerary not clear in some cases on what was/was not included. More "on your own" visiting was required than I expected.

By Osman A on Jun 08, 2018

I enjoyed this tour and it exceeded my expectations. The destinations were remarkable and it was a pleasure to see them all. Also, the tour Director was excellent and enthusiastic which made the experience even better.

By Charlotte B on May 11, 2018

I don't think the additional tours were explained very well in the things that I read on the internet. More costs were involved than I realized there would be

By Terry C on May 04, 2018

We were looking for more time spent in countryside, rather than so much time in large, congested cities. Our bus driver & tour director were very good. Most accommodations were very nice but hotel in Waterford (Treacy's) should never be included in tour. It was a fire hazard, with very uneven floors, dirty carpet and terrible food for dinner. Dinners included in tour were not very good, but breakfasts were consistently good. I highly recommend the optional tour just outside Waterford to he Saratoga waterfront pub with entertainment. It was a nice, intimate experience with wonderful Irish music performed by 3 very talented singers.

By Angela H on Dec 23, 2016

The most irritating part of the whole trip was that we did not have sufficient time at each location to be able to do any tours and/or have time to eat our meals and/or also be able to walk around and see the city sights. We felt like we were limited to having to choose between seeing the cities or touring the things we wanted to tour. We felt rushed and very much on a time crunch at each destination. One of the things that contributed to that was the fact that a few times we would stop for a restroom break 10 - 15 minutes before we reached the next destination and that would eat up 30 - 45 minutes or more of the time we could have spent sightseeing. This would be after only an hour or so of driving. We may have been "spoiled" by our last tour (Globus, booked through AFFORDABLETOURS.COM) where the guide was extremely knowledgable of all of the cities we drove through and everything in between. She would give us information about so many things we passed on the drive from one city to the next. He did give us some information, as we neared the cities, but it was mostly political history/facts. Some of that is okay but I wanted more different information on the places we went to than mainly the political side. Our guide on this trip seemed to be more concerned with allowing people to sleep during the drives, and many of the people did sleep on the drives so I felt like that was a hinderance to our guide. We paid a lot of money to take our son, his wife, our daughter and ourselves to visit these countries to see and absorb as many sights and as much information as we could and we didn\'t want to waste our time sleeping and miss anything.® does not itself offer, service or administer the Travel Packages, and the ultimate terms and conditions of any Travel Package made available via the Site Offerings (including the prices quoted in connection with same) will be determined by the applicable Third-Party Travel Service Provider.® does not represent or warrant that the Price Quotes are accurate, up-to-date or free of error, or that same will be honored by the applicable Third-Party Travel Service Providers.
