By Cheryl S on Aug 26, 2019

Our agent was exceptional. Kenny is always prompt with questions or concerns. I would definitely use him again. Our tour guide and driver was very good on Globus. I did find two of the hotels we started in very small. Difficult to move around in and fit luggage.

By Lester R on Aug 26, 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Scandinavia and had a wonderful tour director. Our only complaint is that the tour group was 41 people, which we thought was too large. A group of 30-35 would have been better.

By Kenneth M on Aug 26, 2019

A great tour. We enjoyed it very much.

By William P on Jun 22, 2019

The hotels were a disappointment based on our last trip with Globus.

By Sandra C on Jun 16, 2019

I was very disappointed with the hotels provided. The rooms were small, and single beds were very close together and this was not great since my roommate was a snorer.

By James O on May 13, 2019

Super tour. Our first organized tour

By Caesar P on Sep 03, 2018

The whole package was great and the accommodations are excellent. We had a very accommodating and jolly Tour Director and excellent driver; Only issue is with the wifi on the bus couldnt connect most of the time but in the hotels there were no issues. The group we were with were good. overall, it was an enjoyable trip. And the food was excellent; Norway was tops.

By Natalie S on Aug 06, 2018

Not sure about another booking. Several of the hotels were not the quality I normally stay in. One had no a/c and no windows that opened in 90 degree heat. Several were so small they barely accommodated 2 suitcases.

By Marlene G on Jul 07, 2018

The tour was very nice, except none of the hotels had Air conditioning and the Scandinavian countries had record hot temperatures from Coppenhagen to Oslo, Norway. The heat at night was unbearable and the hotels did not have enough fans for the tour group. Also, the driver was 40 mins late on the last transfer from hotel in Oslo to the airport. Therefore, I was late to the airport and almost missed my flight to Frankfurt, Germany.

By Kim K on Jun 30, 2018

There was only one hotel that was a bit confusing with finding your way around, room keys not always working and just average food. The remaining ones were great. Our guide , Rudy was very knowledgeable and effective in getting our bags and people organized. He had notices for our times posted each afternoon. Kristoph our driver, was very good and safe. We saw many places in the time given. Of course, we always wanted more time but good overview.

By Amy C on May 28, 2018

The trip was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. It was relaxing and we had some free time. We purchased most of the optional tours/meals and found some meals were a little less than the value we expected. The tour guide and driver were very professional. All in all it was a good trip.

By Felix S on May 14, 2018

Very intense tour with moving from one place to another

By Phyllis J on Aug 07, 2017

Some hotels were minimal in accommodations. Tour guide and driver were great. We saw lots of all three countries. However, people need to be in good physical shape as it is lots of on and off a motor coach. Optimal tours were costly. We did have a great time.

By Carol C on Aug 29, 2016

I chose Globus only because it was the only operator that covered the areas I was most interested in. I have traveled with Globus on one other occasion. My biggest complaint is the inclusion of optionals which should be included as part of the package, since they were the highlight of most of the places we visited, e.g. Vasa Ship Museum, Viking Museum, etc. Other tour companies (several) that I have traveled with include much more in the itinerary that is not optional. The Sunday we arrived in Falun, everything was closed, so if you did not choose the optional, it was a waste of trip time. Arriving so late in other places did not give the opportunity to do anything but eat and sleep. The tour director was not very helpful with suggestions of things to do. He had worked 37 days straight days and appeared tired and short, not very helpful in pointing out places of interest when we arrived at hotels. He was quite authoritarian in his approach, not something I'm used to when I'm a customer, not a child. I also did not like the fact that no name tags were provided for 43 people. I believed this hindered interaction with others and group cohesiveness...not used to that either, although it was a very nice group. I don't believe the tour director even knew anyone's name, at least he didn't address anyone by name. I do prefer traveling with Gate 1, Insight and Trafalgar.

By Jean H on Aug 22, 2016

This was our third trip with Globus and we were very satisfied.

By Soumava B on May 28, 2016

Excellent sightseeing. The tour director was absolutely top class.

By David H on May 14, 2016

Great scenery. Make sure to sequence the trip starting in Copenhagen, Norway is substantially more interesting. May was a great time for the waterfalls in Norway.

I feel the optional dinners are not a good value if you are in any city you could walk to a restaurant and get a meal and know you are getting something you enjoy eating at a fraction of the cost .

This is so far the best tour experience for me and my wife. This was one of our bucket list (achieved). I have never thought how exciting and fascinating to tour the 3 Scandinavian countries which were rich of histories and traditions, beauty and grandeur scenery. Thank you for the expertise, great service and support of the Globus Tour Director and Bus Driber. Well organized and we always feel safe during our tout because they always looked for us. They made our tour very exciting and meaningful. I want to thank greatly our travel agent and Affordable Tours in setting all these for us.

I have enjoyed my trip and the services provided by Affordable Tours, However, I have noticed that all participants in our group have been offered assistance for pick up services at the airport except us!!!

The Globus Tour Director was the worst that we have ever experienced after about 15 escorted tours. She did the mere basic tasks & did nothing to make the trip entertaining, interesting or fun. If this had been our first escorted tour it likely would have been our last. We may never travel with Globus again.

The itinerary is ok except we spend too much time in the coach (I guess the sites are too far from each other) but over-all the trip is good. Our group was very good and was always on time. The comfort (restroom/meals) stops were just right. The restrooms are clean and FREE! Prices for Optional tours are in euros and should have the corresponding amount in US dollars! Good choices of Hotels near points of interest sites. We had very good, knowledgeable tour guide, who is very helpful.

I just returned from a wonderful experience in Scandinavia, all made possible by Affordable Tours and Globus. Affordable Tours is the BEST! They are professional and very helpful. I hope to be able to them again and again. I had a great experience with Globus a few years ago when I visited China. My latest experience in Denmark, Sweden and Norway with them was even better. The tour as handled by our Tour Director and Driver was a cultural and entertaining experience. These two men added "class" to the whole effort.

In our trip with Globus, they had 2 buses doing the same trip. That meant we had to hurry at some points as the other bus was coming, one event was rushed into a long day on the road, leaving all of the next day "at leasure" in the rain. The other bus kept to the original plan. (We were in the 2nd bus.) The restaurants was extra crowded. Our tour director spent very little time on the history of the countries. (CIE, Trafalgar, and Uniworld were much better.)

The trip was great, and i was especially impressed with our tour guide. He met us at the airport, and even took the bus back to the airport when we left. the only criticism i have is that we were not impressed with odense - not worth the time. also, 2 of the globus buses we were on broke down, so we missed a stop on our tour. Globus needs to spend the money to keep its buses in good repair.

Our trip to Scandinavia was the most memorable of all. The cities we visited and people we met were wonderful. The tour director was excellent. The bus driver was quite professional and an expert driver. The scenery was unparralleled.

GLOBUS, its staff and the tour exceeded expectations.

the hotels were nice, but the bathrooms could be disasterous for seniors and people with disabilities. in order to get into the shower tubs you have to climb high, and the tubs when wet were very slippery, as were the floors. very little to hold onto also. these are trips mostly older people are taking. the extra tour in copenhagen to the resistance museum should have been included in the included morning tour. the museum was free to all. on the tours to scandanavia, clients should be told that food is very expensive. especially when dinners are not included in the large cities® does not itself offer, service or administer the Travel Packages, and the ultimate terms and conditions of any Travel Package made available via the Site Offerings (including the prices quoted in connection with same) will be determined by the applicable Third-Party Travel Service Provider.® does not represent or warrant that the Price Quotes are accurate, up-to-date or free of error, or that same will be honored by the applicable Third-Party Travel Service Providers.
