Monday (day 01) is the start date in Ireland. Note, with overnight flights, a SUNDAY flight would be needed. Arrival transfer provided for all incoming flights.
Day 01, Monday: Independent Dublin!
Today begin your adventure with a private transfer on arrival at Dublin Airport. Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall. Make your way to your pre-booked Dublin hotel. Check in at the hotel is at 2:30 pm, for those arriving early, the hotel will hold your bags so you can go out and begin exploring Dublin! Dublin, the capital of Ireland offers much to see and do. The city offers a wealth of history (from the GPO to Trinity College to Kilmainham Gaol), a bevy of shopping with fantastic shopping on Grafton and Henry streets and a loads of pubs with entertainment to choose from. An easy city to walk and enjoy the sites, but we have included the famous DoDublin city bus hop-on hop-off tour for you to get around the city. This is a one-day pass, which can be used on arrival or on your 2nd day in the city. The choice is yours. Overnight in Dublin.
Day 02, Tuesday: Independent Dublin!
If you chose not to use your Hop On Hop Off bus pass yesterday, today would be the perfect opportunity to do so. This tour offers 33 stops throughout Dublin, bringing you to the most iconic sites along the way. From the Dublin Writers Museum to Guinness, Jameson's, St. Patrick's Cathedral and more. It is the best way to see Dublin with excellent guides and lively commentary. This evening we have arranged dinner and a show for you at the Irish House Party. Make your way over to the Landsdowne Hotel, just 10 minutes from the city center with dinner served sharply at 7:00 pm. The show beings at 8:30 and ends at 10:00pm. Make your way back to the hotel for overnight. (B,D)
Day 03, Wednesday: Dublin - Roscommon
Private transfer arranged this morning to bring you to Dublin Airport where you will meet the group arriving to begin the escorted portion of your tour. Today is a leisurely day making your way to your castle hotel, where you can enjoy the luxury of Kilronan Castle. Plenty of time to walk the grounds or enjoy the spa before your included dinner this evening. Overnight at Kilronan Castle. (B,D)
Day 04, Thursday: Roscommon - Sligo - Roscommon
A leisurely departure from our castle hotel, we travel a short distance to the Arigna Mines, where we enjoy the unique Arigna Mining Experience. The surrounding natural scenery where the mine is located is striking. After touring the mine, we travel along scenic Lough Allen to Dromahair and the lake isle of Innisfree, immortalized by the poet William Butler Yeats. Continue on to the small village of Drumcliffe and the final resting place of W.B. Yeats, then onto to Sligo Town, where you have free time to explore the history of the area and perhaps visit the Yeats Library and Art gallery. This afternoon we travel the short journey back to our castle hotel so you can enjoy some free time and relax before dinner tonight. Overnight at Kilronan. (B, D)
Day 05, Friday: Roscommon - Galway - Cliffs of Moher - Adare - Killarney
Morning departure from Kilronan Castle. We travel south via the majestic Cliffs of Moher, where we pause with spectacular views. Continue along the western coastline, as we make our way to charming Killarney town via Lahinch and Adare. In Killarney, we enjoy dinner at our hotel this evening. Killarney is an excellent location to enjoy traditional music, pub entertainment or a traditional top-rated Irish Cabaret show (which can be pre-booked at the time of your reservation for $49 per person). Overnight in Killarney. (B,D)
Day 06, Saturday: Killarney - Ring of Kerry
We depart on one of Ireland's most popular and beautiful drives, the Ring of Kerry. Traveling from Killarney, we come to the town of Killorglin, famous for its traditional Puck Fair, and from here we commence the ring tour. Our drive is along the coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula, through the towns of Glenbeigh, Cahirciveen, Waterville, and Sneem. The scenery is spectacular as wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys, and rocky mountains blend in awesome beauty before we circle back to Killarney for dinner and overnight. (B,D)
Day 07, Sunday: Killarney - Shannon - U.S.
We have an early morning departure from Killarney to Shannon Airport, for your return flight home. (B)Note: Flights before 11 am from Shannon will not work with our one group transfer. If Celtic Tours is not booking your flight, please book flights after 11 am to qualify for group transfer.

Everything that was detailed in the itinerary was carried out during the trip. Our guide Terry was wonderful, professional and very informative. He explained important details and made sure we saw all we could. The bus was clean and comfortable.
