Our guide was excellent.
This was one of the best trips we have ever taken, with the best guide and driver we have ever had for a multi-day tour. The driver's skill and discipline made everyone feel safe and comfortable under all situations, and the guide was knowledgeable, cordial, and made everything sound interesting, down to the last detail. He also seemed to know everyone, and we could always count on him to take care of us during our excursions. The trip itself delved into fascinating aspects of Moroccan history and life in Morocco, and we came away with an increased awareness of life and culture from fascinating Morocco.
Accommodations and level of service exceeded expectations. Only improvements would be competitive airfare and practical guides such as tipping.
The trip was just what we wanted and a good value. We loved the hotel Filotera in Santorini.
Some of the beds in the hotel rooms were not as comfortable as they should have been. The hotel room in Vience was dirty. The tour guide offered to have the room switched. Most of the provided dinners were just OK, they could have been much better.
The guides at each location were great, however the host representatives hired by Homeric were not very helpful. In fact, the one we had in Sorrento was more of an hindrance than helpful.
