This was a wonderful tour and we had a terrific time!!! Our hotels were all centrally located and very nice to stay in...the hotel in Venice was right on the Grand Canal and lovely! The price we paid was well worth it as we covered a lot of territory and saw everything that was promised. Our last night in Rome was really special..we were taken to a beautiful restaurant where we were treated to a show of opera singers and comedy...we all loved it! The individual tour guides in each city were very knowledgeable and nice as well. Our tour guide was AMAZING....kind,warm, courteous, caring, and fun with a good sense of humor and very informative. Most important....he truly cared about everyone and always made sure we were well taken care of and pleased. He is an asset to your company and a GREAT guide. Thanks for a great tour...my 2nd one with CIE!!!
The hotels in Venice and Florence were el dumpos. They were slightly modernized but not up to American traveler standards in the least. The hotel in Rome was lovely but it is an American brand and should stock American converter plugs at the front desk since the bathroom plugs do not fit. Our guide from Kompass Tours was wonderful.
Our hotels in Italy were wonderful, we especially enjoyed Venice and Florence. Our local guides were great! The tour guide was awesome! We enjoyed everything about our experience, the sights, the food and the transportation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Our tour was with CIE Tours. The operator of the tour was Kampas Tours out of Florida. We arrived a day late due to weather problems. Our tour guide arranged for us to see most of what we had missed by arriving late. He did an excellent job of taking care of us as well as taking care of the numerous problems (missed luggage, very late arrivals, etc.) that others in the group experienced. The accommodations were fabulous - much better than I expected. We had a great trip.
