The roots of your faith will come to life on this extraordinary journey through the Holy Land. Follow in the footsteps of Jesus as you learn more about His life and ministry. Visit places of biblical importance like the Mount of Beatitudes or simply take time to reflect on by the Sea of Galilee. Spend time in Nazareth and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, visit the Basilica of the Nativity in Bethlehem, get inspired as you re-live some of the New Testament’s stories in their original settings. Jerusalem brings you even closer to Jesus as you re-trace His path along the Via Dolorosa and all the way to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. All of this—and much more—await you on a deeply spiritual vacation of a lifetime!
Day 1: ARRIVE IN TEL AVIV, ISRAEL.
Welcome to Israel! Check into your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. This evening, meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers.
Day 2: TEL AVIV–JAFFA–CAESAREA–MEGIDDO–NAZARETH.
Enjoy a full day exploring some of the Holy Land’s ancient biblical and modern sights. Begin by driving to the old port of JAFFA, an atmospheric town, where Jonah set sail before he was swallowed by the whale. Continue to CAESAREA, an ancient port turned incredible ARCHAEOLOGICAL ZONE. Built by Herod the Great in the 1st century BC, the city was one of the most splendid in ancient Palestine and its capital for more than 600 years. Admire what remains of Herod’s grandiose building works, including the restored 3,500-seat Roman theater, the aqueduct, harbor, and the crumbled moat and towers from the 12th-century CRUSADER FORTRESS. From here, travel to the archaeological site of MEGIDDO, an age-old FORTIFIED TOWN with 25 layers of archaeological findings and one of the world’s most important biblical sites. According to the New Testament, this is where the Battle of Armageddon will take place, the final struggle between good and evil, which will prompt the return of Jesus to defeat the Antichrist and cast Satan into the abyss. Continue to Nazareth to visit the CHURCH OF THE ANNUNCIATION, where the Archangel Gabriel told Mary she would conceive and give birth to Jesus, the Son of God. This evening you may have an opportunity to join a candlelight procession starting from the Church of the Annunciation square.
Today's Distance: 121 mi / 195 km (B,D)
Day 3: NAZARETH. EXCURSION TO BET SHE’AN.
Attend one of the early morning Mass services if you wish, then join today’s included excursion. Bet She’an is one of the best preserved archaeological sites of this region and well worth some time to wander around. Ongoing excavations at this UNESCO World Heritage site revealed time-worn colonnade-style streets, bathhouses, and a theater with perfect acoustics.
Today's Distance: 48 mi / 77 km (B)
Day 4: NAZARETH. EXCURSION TO MAGDALA–SEA OF GALILEE–TABGHA–CAPERNAUM–MOUNT OF BEATITUDES–CANA.
Today, celebrate [M] Mass in Magdala, home to Mary Magdalene, then skirt the Sea of Galilee, and enjoy its scenic beauty. Continue to Tabgha and visit the church commemorating the miracle of Jesus feeding 5,000 people with two fish and five loaves. On to CAPERNAUM, home to the Apostles Peter, Andrew, James, John, and Matthew, and to Jesus himself. Here, you’ll see its ANCIENT SYNAGOGUE and the HOUSE OF ST. PETER. Spend some time in the gardens on the MOUNT OF BEATITUDES, where Jesus delivered his famous sermon, and meditate its significance. On the way back to Nazareth, stop in CANA, site of the wedding miracle.
Today's Distance: 91 mi / 147 km (B,D)
Day 5: NAZARETH–BETHLEHEM–JERUSALEM.
Enjoy a spectacular drive through the Jordan Valley. Stop at the QASR EL YAHUD baptismal site where, according to tradition, Jesus was baptized by St. John the Baptist. Continue to Bethlehem, birthplace of Jesus and King David. Visit one of Christianity’s holiest places, the CHURCH OF THE NATIVITY, built over the cave thought to be the spot where Jesus was born. Here, you will have time to pray and attend [M] Mass, if you like. Reach the holy city of Jerusalem in the late afternoon.
Today's Distance: 119 mi / 192 km (B,D)
Day 6: JERUSALEM.
A day of reflection awaits as you set off on a walking tour of Jerusalem’s Old Town. From the MOUNT OF OLIVES, take in memorable views over the city’s domes, walls, and rooftops before strolling in the GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE, where Jesus prayed on the night before his arrest. Your guide will then lead you into the JEWISH QUARTER, pointing out the WESTERN WALL with its prayer notes tucked between the stones, and the Dome of the Rock, the gold-topped mosque on Temple Mount. Walk the famous Via Dolorosa (Way of the Cross), following in Jesus’ footsteps as he bore the cross to Calvary for his crucifixion and burial, where the BASILICA OF THE HOLY SEPULCHRE now stands. Later this afternoon, attend [M] Mass, if you like. (B)
Day 7: JERUSALEM. OPTIONAL EXCURSION TO MASADA & THE DEAD SEA.
Today is free to relax, explore Jerusalem at leisure, revisit some of the most significant places of worship, or join an exciting optional excursion to the Dead Sea, the planet’s lowest point on dry land. Travel through the mountainous Judean Desert and pass the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Ride the cable car up to the magnificent Fortress of Masada, perched high on a clifftop plateau above the Dead Sea, where 960 Jewish rebels made their last stand against Roman forces in 73 AD. Later, head for the shores of the Dead Sea, where you’ll have some time to experience the incredible buoyancy in the salt water. Toward the end of the afternoon, return to Jerusalem. (B,D)

Hygiene and Safety Protocols for Cosmos Tours
Today's world has changed, but what remains certain is Cosmos' commitment to guest safety, comfort and peace-of-mind while traveling with us. To that end, Cosmos has established a worldwide Assurance program, with enhanced on-trip protocols and procedures, to ensure the health – and happiness – of guests throughout their travels with us.
It all starts with Cosmos' Global Health & Safety Team, dedicated to ensuring that cleanliness of all operations exceeds today’s travel standards—from start to finish. The following areas address Cosmos' commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for guests.A SAFE & WARM WELCOME
Cosmos will enact new tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings to offer guests a safe start to their journey, including adherence to social distancing requirements.BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCE
Cosmos will ensure safe distances for guests throughout the journey, on coach and during excursions. This includes providing masks for guests use at any time where social proximity could be an issue as well as the possibility of reducing group sizes, if required. And wireless listening technology – including Cosmos' Go Beyond Devices in Europe – enables safe distances between guests and other travelers on excursions.FOCUS ON GUEST AND TEAM MEMBER HEALTH
To ensure a healthy environment for team and guests, Cosmos will conduct regular temperature checks for both guests and team, and when necessary, masks will be worn by Cosmos' team members when with guests.TOUCHING HEARTS, NOT HANDS
Traveling with Cosmos removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more. Cosmos are further reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all self-services replaced by staff, including buffet meals replaced with table service. Cosmos will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.COMMITMENT TO CLEAN
As a part of Cosmos' commitment to clean, Cosmos is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTH
Cosmos has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

I had an amazing experience traveling to the Holy Land with Cosmos. Our tour guide Ori was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kept our tour running smoothly the entire time. He answered all of our many questions, told us jokes, and even taught us a song to sing on the bus. I had a very positive experience as a solo traveler on my very first guided tour. I felt very safe and had an excellent support system with the guide and my fellow tour group travelers. I feel that I completely maximized the time short time I had in Israel. I saw all of the religious sites I wanted to see and experience a lot of history and culture. I was glad that we were also given time to shop and try some optional activities. I chose to ride a camel at the Dead Sea beach on the last day. I was very impressed that Cosmos arranged two private masses for our group, one in Bethlehem and one in Magdala. This made the experience extra special. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. It was spiritually and intellectually enlightening as well as just plain fun.
It was an amazing trip the pick up and return to airport was taken care of the cosmos was really good. The tour director so kind, lots of knowledge and take a good care with the group. Overall tour was amazing and excellent.
Yshai, the tour director, is very knowledgeable in his field. Vahad, the driver, is very skillful. I like them both. Thank you, Yshai and Vahad. I would prefer the visitors are asked if they want to shop at the end of the day; if they say "yes"; then stop at a shopping center. If not, they would be allowed to stay at the site(s) a little bit longer. Thank you.
The services we experience thru Cosmos were so wonderful, our tour guide was very knowledgeable, he did extra miles in effort to make our trip convenient and unforgettable. I would love to book with them in the next trip i'm going to have in the furure. Thank you AFFORDABLE TOUR and COSMOS. I definitely will book again with your company. Have a wonderful day and GOD BLESS US ALL Herminia
Always a pleasure working with Affordable tours, Hue my travel consultant is spectacular, always accommodation, professional and approachable Thanks Hue Thanks Affordable tours
This trip was both spiritual and historical. Our guide was very special and communicated her knowledge every day. Our accommodations were excellent and within walking distance to places on our free time. The price was perfect, which gave us both included meals and on our own meals. The Israel's were friendly and helpful, and everywhere we visited we did so with much peace of mind. All in all it was a most memorable tour.
Cosmos tour guide Danny did a good job with information regarding the Holy Land. He knows the history very well. Gave us extra stops on important places that we need to see.
I would definitely book thru Affordable Tours again. Glenn was fantastic!! However I would be very cautious about using Cosmos again. Our flight was two hours late getting in and the representative that was suppose to pick us up at the airport told my Aunt to tell us to just get a taxi. She literally left us in a foreign country to fend for ourselves!! My trip included this transfer and I ended up paying $45.00 for this taxi ride to our hotel. It's not like it was the early hours of the morning, our flight arrived at 10:00 in the evening!! Not happy!
Operators are friendly and accommodating. I will definitely recommend Affordable Tours to my friends.
The tour was well scheduled, there is a lot to see but the program followed is excellent!
Our tour guide Hava & driver Gidil were great. Very helpful and accommodating. The Hotel accommodations were good. The elevator of the Jerusalem Ramada were slow & sometimes only 1 is working.
The Holy tour to Israel was an amazing experience and I will be encouraging people to book from affordable tours.
It was an amazing experience, I would like to request that the person that we book with just follow up to make sure that we understand and to make sure that if we have other questions they are able to help.
This is the most memorable experience of my life. Our Journey to the Holy Land and the people around us and the Tour Director gave us an awesome trip to Israel. From day 1 up to the last day. I can't explained by words how happy I am and our itinerary everyday made us a complete person. No worries about everything coz it is already set and plan. We really appreciated your team and Cosmos for making this trip a memorable and the best tour experiences of our lives.
One of the hotel we stayed in was not very nice. The room is old and the bath doesn't work well. There were two hotels that different from the ltinerary that was given us before. We should be noticify before. There is also confusion, because we changed hotel in Haifa there was no dinner that night but told by our tour consultant,we should have a light meal instead. When we show up it was only snack. First of all, you cannot change from dinner included to a very light snack. One of the ladies complained to the office so we got a dinner one night when we are not suppose to have. The Ramada hotel the staffs are rude and didn't give me the right information. She told me I have a shuttle bus every hour from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv but failed to tell me you have to book the night before. I have to pay for a taxi to go to Tel Aviv. In the room there is no wi-fi.
