Question: How many travelers are on this tour?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Not really sold on bus tours. Too structured and the unpacking and packing almost every day.
Affordable's Riley Ae helped us with our first Globus tour. He was most informative for us and all of his advice was excellent.
Two of the hotels were below the level we expected. This tour had quite a few optional excursions, some during the day. Two of the excursions were quite similar. Compared with a previous Globus tour of Great Britain, this one had more free time, which may be good or bad, depending on personal preference.
Great trip of Alpine countries - however, weather cold/rain, tour director was not up to Globus standards as some of the hotels were not either. Beautiful scenery of the countries - Alps amazing
The hotel dinner provided meals were not the quality expected. In several hotels, the staff were rude and unwelcoming. ROOMZ stand-out.
I paid the Globus single supplement for the Alpine Tour. Some of the hotel rooms and bathrooms that I was assigned were so small it was hard to move around. Some bathrooms were the size of a cruise ship bathroom. The no charge meals were mediocre with small portions. The no charge glass of wines offered were poor quality. The hotel staff that was handling my wheeled luggage bag broke the handle off and offered no assistance to get it repaired so the bag could be maneuvered on wheels there after.
I have taken many trips with Globus and have been pleased with the tour and the guides.
We were fully satisfied that we booked this trip with you. It was an incredible experience for us from the start of our booking with you till the end of our trip. All went smoothly and thanks to you Affordable tours for your assistance and great service.
Best weather in years the Tour Director said. Clear and warm everyday. We had such a beautiful view of the Alps all the time. So it was the Best. Also the people on this Globus Alpine Tour were all so nice to each other. I did not like taking 3 flights to get to my destination. Return was 2 flights so much better. Will use Afflordable again for 2019.
I have taken 6 tours with Globus and feel that the included dinners were not as good as they have been in the past.
The tour staff (driver/ tour guide) were very courteous. The tour director ensured that we had a good travel experience and was knowledgeable. The Alpine tour was well laid out and covered several key locations. While the tour was somewhat aggressive for some, it very much met our needs. The tour far exceeded our expectations. Area for improvement: Better WiFi service on bus and a capability to charge smartphones.
This trip was a dream come true. We enjoyed every minute, except for the long plane trips to and from Germany. Our Globus Tour Director was fantastic, organized, friendly, and patient. We booked our flights through Globus and would probably not do that again, because Globus changed the time for one of our connecting flights, which caused us to have a lengthy layover in Dallas and to finally get home after midnight, after having traveled for 28 hours straight.
The itinerary of this trip was absolutely wonderful, and the excursions were all outstanding! This was our first trip with Globus, and they did a nice job. Our tour guide was professional and very informative. Our bus driver did a great job with the very challenging terrain, but we were unable to communicate with him as he spoke Italian. Don't understand why they assigned an Italian bus driver to a bus full of English-speaking tourists! The hotels were okay to good, but not great. Two were under renovation at the time we visited. Breakfasts were included and looked forward to daily! Some hotels had good breakfasts while others were minimal. Really enjoyed the tour itself, just feel hotels could have been a little nicer. Our first trip ever abroad was last summer with Gate1, and the hotels they stayed at far surpassed the ones Globus used and the trip itself was a little less expensive! I also wish Globus would have a weekly email with varying trips on special each week like Gate1 offers.
There was a little too much talk about irrelevant subjects and I felt rushed due to short stays in several places. Other than that it was perfect.
This was our 8th tour with Globus. Unfortunately, the quality of the hotel rooms on this tour was significantly lower than we experienced on previous Globus tours. The room were too small for us to manage our luggage in them, and the quality of amenities in several of them (Holiday Inns in particular) was at a 2-Star level. I have sent a detailed letter to Globus explaining my concerns.
Globus Tours is an excellent tour company. Great itinerary and excursions and great hotels. Tour guides are great. We will continue to book Globus tours.
Both of our trips were wonderful. The Tour Directors were exceptional and the scenery was magnificent.
Globus and the Tour Director were excellent.
We took the Alpine Tour and had an outstanding experience. Our tour guide was the best tour director we have had ever had. She provided a wealth of information throughout the tour and kept everyone on schedule. My wife and I would also like to thank our agent for her excellent and very pleasant in planning this trip. She was great. We certainly plan our next trip with her.
This was our first bus trip and could not have had a more wonderful time. Our guide and our bus driver were fantastic. Our guide was very personable and very knowledgeable of the places we went, and the driver could turn that huge bus on a dime! Our accommodations in some places were quaint and we loved them. We would highly recommend your tour company. Definitely a Class A tour. Thanks for the many memories....
Best tour guide that we have ever had. This trip and the one to eastern Europe (5 capital cities in 5 countries) were my favorites.
From beginning to end the booking, arrangements, the suggestions, the flight, the tour guide, the weather, and the great company we encountered was nothing short of OUTSTANDING. Needless to say, we will be knocking on your business door again. Thank you for a great vacation.
Very enjoyable vacation. Good combination of European culture and nature. Very good Globus tour director and coach driver.
I really enjoyed my trip. No problems at all. The swiss alps were all I hoped they would be.
