Tour Itinerary

Cruise through some of the world's most beautiful islands, uncover isolated beaches, explore small fishing villages, swim and snorkel the vibrant coral reefs of the Indian Ocean, savour local cuisine

White sands, blue skies, and crystal-clear waters — cruise the extraordinary islands of the Maldives by traditional dhoni. Experience the turquoise lagoons and perfect beaches that make these islands famous. Learn the local way and snorkel amongst the spectacular corals of the Indian Ocean. Every day offers relaxing sea breezes and countless photo opportunities. Indulge yourself in this tropical paradise.

Day 1: Malé/South Malé Atoll
Transfer to the dhoni boat after a brief meeting with the CEO, settle in, and set sail on a voyage of discovery.
Transport: Settle in and scan the scenery from the convenience of a private vehicle.
Transport: Climb aboard this traditional Maldivian fishing boat and float on to the next stop.
Activity: The Maldives offer some of the most amazing snorkelling and marine life viewing opportunities in the world. The shallow islands and plentiful coral reefs make it a key feeding ground for many species of tropical fish. 70 different species of colourful corals make up the flora of this underwater city, with more than 700 species of fish and other marine life making up its fauna. Snorkelling is one of the simplest ways to experience this impressive underwater world.
Free Time: Relax on the beach, go for a swim, have a cocktail, or read a book. The afternoon is yours to enjoy.
Meal(s): Lunch Dinner

Day 2: South Malé Atoll/Felidhu Atholhu
Spend the next five days cruising around the South Malé and Felidhu atolls, disembarking to visit islands and sandbars along the way. On Fulidhu, mingle with locals and experience a traditional drumming performance. Bodu Moro Island is home to idyllic uninhabited beaches - the perfect photo opt. Aboard the dhoni, spend free time as you please - lounge on the sundecks and take in the views, relax with a good book, or socialize with fellow travellers as you enjoy delicious local seafood. Off the boat, opt to swim and enjoy snorkelling about twice a day amongst the spectacular marine life of the Maldives. The shallow islands and amazing coral reefs make it a key feeding ground for many species of tropical fish. Keep an eye out for turtles, reef sharks, stingrays, and octopuses.
Activity: Spend time with the local community and see their way of life. Enjoy an evening performance of Bodu Beru, the traditional folk music of the country. Bodu beru means "big drum" and involves a group of people sitting and singing to the rhythmical beat of drums.
Activity: Stroll the quaint streets of the island of Felidhu, the capital of Felidhu Atoll. This small island is home to beautiful beaches and a local souvenir shop or two.
Activity: Experience one of the Maldives uninhabited islands, with a visit to stunning Bodu Mora. The island's stretch of idyllic beach is home to lush palm trees, soft sands, and crystal clear blue waters.

Everyone connected with the tour went above and beyond. The tour was more than I ever dreamt!

Our CEO Solofo for this trip is fantastic. He is patient and very nice. He went extra ways to help me and other members. I really enjoy this trip because of him! He is an excellent CEO. I definitely will recommend to other friends about him. Pls let him know that we really enjoy his introduction. He is also very informative and knowledgeable. In a word, he is excellent!

Great trip at a reasonable price.

Awesome trip in a great country. Our CEO was professional and fun!!!

G adventures offers hands down some of the best tour packages out there!

The Japan vacation was better than I expected!!!! It was an active "moving" trip, which I truly enjoyed. I've done "coach tours" where you sit on the bus and they take you -- this experience was "hands on" riding the buses, trains and running through the streets -- it was amazing !!!!! We got the full feel of Japan and the people. This trip is not for the weak or slow pace crowd - you drag your luggage through the streets, up and down stairs --- it was truly exciting and exhilarating. G adventures has a fan for life. The instructions and assistance was outstanding -- Great job - Steve (AffordableTours.com) was outstanding !
