Health and Safety Protocols for Cosmos Tours
Today's world has changed, but what remains certain is Cosmos' commitment to guest safety, comfort and peace-of-mind while traveling with us. To that end, Cosmos has established a worldwide Assurance program, with enhanced on-trip protocols and procedures, to ensure the health – and happiness – of guests throughout their travels with us.
It all starts with Cosmos' Global Health & Safety Team, dedicated to ensuring that cleanliness of all operations exceeds today’s travel standards—from start to finish. The following areas address Cosmos' commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for guests.
A SAFE & WARM WELCOMECosmos will enact new tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings to offer guests a safe start to their journey, including adherence to social distancing requirements.
BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCECosmos will ensure safe distances for guests throughout the journey, on coach and during excursions. This includes providing masks for guests use at any time where social proximity could be an issue as well as the possibility of reducing group sizes, if required. And wireless listening technology – including Cosmos' Go Beyond Devices in Europe – enables safe distances between guests and other travelers on excursions.
FOCUS ON GUEST AND TEAM MEMBER HEALTHTo ensure a healthy environment for team and guests, Cosmos will conduct regular temperature checks for both guests and team, and when necessary, masks will be worn by Cosmos' team members when with guests.
TOUCHING HEARTS, NOT HANDSTraveling with Cosmos removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more. Cosmos are further reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all self-services replaced by staff, including buffet meals replaced with table service. Cosmos will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Cosmos' commitment to clean, Cosmos is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHCosmos has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

The driver and tour operator were superb! The cities chosen and the overall tour was one of my best life experiences! I would have preferred the hotel included dinners to include more regional food.
This was way too fast paced, it should have been explained how much we would NOT get to do or see, and it should have rated it as a tour for younger people as we were exhausted by the whole fast pace. The Hotels on this were not the 3 or 4 stars purported to be, they were less, and frankly I feel we overpaid for them. Also, the foods given in restaurants we prepaid in this tour, were lousy, we only had one or two meals in 2 weeks that we felt were ok. Honestly feel this was money spent and though we thought were going to get better accomodations, we feel we paid too much for the ones we got.
It was a wonderfully well planed and well executed tour. We got to see and experience so much and it delivered more than expected.
The tour guide was outstanding.
Hotels were located away from towns, ie Amsterdam hotel near airport, hotel in Venice was located in the 2nd Industrial Zone/cornfields, no shampoo, no tissues, nor body cream; pillows flat like pancakes.
They were a few problems for instance, the diner they offer at Lario Hotel in Switzerland was so disgusting. It looked like food they serve in prison. The view was spectacular. Paris schedule was hectic. We spent too much time one hour and 30 minutes at the souvenir place in the area where they were not nothing to see while we just have only 10 minutes at Eiffel tower to take photo then later during the tour we spent another one hour and 15 minutes in the same area pacing around. Paris schedule needs to organize more. Many of us visited paris just because of Eiffel tower and Le Louvre. The Companile hotel the room I was was not the best. I did not even had space to open one luggage. The room was so dark. The carpet in my room was so dirty. It was so dirty romm 608.
Some of the hotels could have been better. Locations of hotels also. Oils be closer to city center. Too many optional excursions and too few included ones.
There is a lot of time spent on the bus - especially the first 3 days when you leave London. I guess I wasn't really aware of this. The bus driver has to stop every 2 hours for 15-20 minute break and every 4 hours the bus has to be off for a 1 hour break due to Europe driving regulations. You will see Europe's Highlights though. One of the best things about this trip for us was the opportunity to meet new people on the tour. Some of the Hotels had small rooms and bathrooms, and most were far from city centers. We did enjoyed our trip
Triple occupancy for rooms during tour was more suitable for two adults and a child and not three adults. Pull out chairs (not even pull out sofas) and flimsy twin bed with flat pillow is not acceptable for getting rest, let alone a decent night's sleep, for an adult.
My tour of Europe with Cosmos was absolutely great. I visited so many countries in so little time, yet still saw enough of each place to get a sense of its essence. The Cosmos tour guide was very knowledgeable and the driver always made me feel safe. I would definitely travel with Cosmos in the future.
We had an excellent tour! The only thing I would change is to make sure all hotels have air conditioning when traveling in the summer. We had 2 hotels with no air conditioning and a couple where the air conditioning did not work well. We plan to book another tour next year and we will use affordable tours again
