Gate 1 consistently provides quality tour guides and hotels in prime locations. The service they provide throughout the tour makes for a trouble free traveling experience (e.g. airport transfers and baggage handling service)

Several of the tour participants were not prepared for the mobility required for the tour. I was totally happy with the itinerary because it offered plenty of walking, exploring, side trips, free time etc. The mobility requirements and challenging itinerary were clearly described in the tour materials so they must have mis-interpreted the requirements. I would suggest that older tour participants read the mobility requirements more closely and be discouraged from taking an active tour(such as this one) that includes many city expeditions, walking in salt mines, uneven terrain, city tours on foot, side explorations, etc. I do not want tour participants to be vocally dissatisfied with Affordable Tours because they personally could not keep up with the mobility requirements when that is clearly advertised up front. This particular tour of 7 localities in 9 days may have been too much for physically challenged individuals. For the rest of us it was more than perfect as to itinerary, coverage, extent, time-frame, walking requirements etc. (Suggestion: Change the hotel in Wroclaw--poor customer service and bad location when compared to the 3 other hotels on the tour).

The tour director MADE the trip! She was fantastic and really went out of her way to make this trip fun, memorable and easy. What a joy!

We had a wonderful time on our tour. We will book again using affordable tours

In Izabella we had a Wonderful tour guide who went out of her way to make this trip a memorable and extremely enjoyable experience.
