Day 1
Palermo - ArrivalUpon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner at the hotel. (Your arrival transfer is included only if you arrive on the actual day the tour commences. For customers arriving earlier an individual transfer can be organized at an additional cost. Day 2
Palermo - Cefalu - Taormina - CataniaAfter a buffet breakfast, departure to Cefalù, charming coastal town, a former fishing village which is also home to a breathtaking Norman Cathedral, famous for its Mosaic of Christ Pantocractor - a stunning Byzantine mosaic that's considered as one of the most important pieces of religious artwork in Sicily. Take a stroll to the city centre and down main street to reach the Cathedral and the medieval wash-house built in the rock. Proceed to Taormina, lunch along the way in a local restaurant. Afternoon in Taormina, charming city called and quot;the pearl of the Ionian Sea and quot;: enjoy time at leisure for shopping or walking through its tiny streets. Possibility to visit the Greek-Roman Theatre on your own, with its spectacular view of Giardini Naxos and Etna volcano. Continue to Catania. Dinner and Overnight at hotel in Catania. Day 3
Catania - Siracusa - CataniaAfter a buffet breakfast, daparture to Syracuse: visit the archaeological area "Neapolis" including the famous Greek Theatre, Latomie of the Paradise and the "Orecchio di Dyionisio ". Continue to the island of Ortigia, the small baroque old city centre of Siracusa; visit of the Cathedral, which is built upon the site of the Temple of Minerva, the legendary Arethuse Fountain and the Temple of Apollo, Lunch in a restaurant in Ortigia. In the afternoon return to Catania for a nice walking tour. During the tour in Catania, stroll through the city centre with your professional guide who will charm you with the history of the city. Day 4
Catania - Modica - RagusaAfter a buffet breakfast, daparture to Modica a town whose architecture has been recognised as providing outstanding testimony to the exuberant genius and final flowering of Baroque art in Europe. Modica is a town with an ancient history, nicknamed and quot;the city of 100 churches and quot; and some of its most representative monuments, such as the Cathedral of San Pietro and the Church of San Giorgio, have been proclaimed a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour will then continue with a visit inside the Artisan chocolate workshop; there you will have the chance to discover the techniques leading to the production of an amazing quality of and quot;the Modican and #39;s chocolate and quot;. Lunch in a local restaurant, followed by free time to explore the town and shopping. Accommodation in your hotel in Ragusa to relax and have dinner. After dinner, return to the hotel. Overnight. Ragusa - Piazza Armerina - AgrigentoAfter a buffet breakfast, daparture to Piazza Armerina to visit the worldwide known Villa Romana del Casale, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, thanks to its well preserved mosaics depicting mythological themes and hunting scenes. Lunch in a local restaurant with a special menu chosen to give the opportunity to taste the local specialities. Daparture to Agrigento, a hillside town famous for its magnificent Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site; guided tour of the Valley, including the Temple of Concordia, which is in almost perfectly preserved condition, the temples of Juno and Heracles. Day 6
Agrigento - Selinunte - Monreale - PalermoAfter a buffet breakfast departure to Selinunte the largest archaeological park in Europe, an area of 270 hectares with over 2.500 years of history written on it. Short visit of the "Eastern Hill". The Temple E is in the best state of conservation of the entire archaeological area, and Temple G was the largest in all Hellenic archaeology. After the visit we proceed to a typical farmhouse producing olive oil for an oil tasting and a delicious lunch. After lunch we proceed in direction of Palermo, the capital of Sicily. At the arrival visit the town of Monreale, situated on a hill at few kms far from Palermo in panoramic position; the Cathedral, one of the most beautiful monuments of the world with its Moorish architecture, housing very fine mosaics representing a complete cycle of the Old and New Testaments, and the Benedictine Cloister in Arab-Norman style. Then, accommodation, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Palermo. (B, L, D)

PalermoAfter a buffet breakfast, morning dedicated to the visit of the historical centre of the town, one of the largest in Europe; with Martorana Church, Piazza Bellini, Piazza Pretoria, "I Quattro Canti di Città - the four corners", making a pleasant walking along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the ancient "Cassaro", Piazza Bologni, the Cathedral (internal visit) and the outside of Norman Palace. You will have the chance to taste the Palermo's street food at a typical local market. Afternoon at leisure or for those who are interested, opportunity to do a panoramic optional visit in the surroundings of Palermo: the "Palazzina Cinese" closed to the green park of "la Favorita" and Mondello, ancient fishers village with a wonderful sand beach where You can taste a delicious ice cream (supplement to pay on the spot; the visit will take place with a minimum of participants). Return to the hotel. Dinner and overnight. (B, L, D)
