Day 1: Arrive Zadar, Saturday
You will be transferred from the airport or Zadar hotel to the port for embarkation. Get settled, and later join your fellow“sailors” for a Welcome Reception with dinner. (D)
Day 2: Zadar - Sali, Sunday
Zadar historical center is a compact pedestrian zone, perfect to explore on foot. Set out on a walking tour and admire the old walls built in 16th century by Venetians as a defense from the Turks. You will also see the 16th century Port Gate where the Venetian lion still guards the entrance, the Square of the Five Wells, Church of St. Donat, the Roman Forum (1st century BC) and the largest cathedral in Dalmatia, St. Anastasia. Return to the ship and enjoy your lunch while sailing to Sali. Explore the town tonight, and have dinner on your own in one of the restaurants. (B, L)
Day 3: Sali – Sibenik, Monday
Take in the scenic wonderlands of two National Parks today. Start in Kornati, home to more than 140 islands with numerous coves and crystal clear waters. Stop for a swim during your lunchtime cruise. Next up is Krka, with its magnificent waterfalls. After your visit here, coach to Sibenik where your yacht is anchored. Your evening is at leisure in town. (B, L)
Day 4: Sibenik – Trogir – Split, Tuesday
Take a break for a swim during your morning cruise. Continue sailing through lunch, arriving this afternoon in the UNESCO listed city of Trogir. There’s time on your own before heading to Split. Here, a walking tour of the historic inner city takes you to the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. See the remnants of Split’s Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter’s Temple, the Peristyle, and the Cathedral. (B, L)
Day 5: Split – Bol - Hvar, Wednesday
Stop in Bol on Brac Island, said to have the best beach in Croatia, the Golden Horn. This vast, golden pebble beach is unique, as it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Go for a swim in the clear blue waters before sailing to the island of Hvar. Enjoy a sightseeing tour including the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK), the Franciscan Monastery, and many more historic sights. The evening is free to explore Hvar and to dine on your own at one of the excellent restaurants. (B, L) Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season in July and August) port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad/Jelsa. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.
Day 6: Hvar – Korcula – Mljet, Thursday
After breakfast set sail for Korcula, with an early afternoon arrival. Korcula town is thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Take a walking tour through its narrow, cobbled streets and visit the majestic Gothic-Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Continue sailing to the island of Mljet, where you will enjoy the afternoon tour of Mljet National Park, as you walk around the Great and Small Lakes. This lovely island was supposedly a favorite holiday spot for the Greek hero Ulysses! Tonight, enjoy captain’s dinner with live entertainment on board your ship. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Mljet – Dubrovnik, Friday
In the morning sail to Dubrovnik, so called “Pearl of Adriatic,” a UNESCO World Heritage site. While in Dubrovnik, take a walking tour of the old town and visit the Rector’s Palace and Franciscan Monastery with its Pharmacy. Remainder of the day is free; perhaps discover this lovely city on own or enjoy last minute souvenir shopping. (B, L)
Day 8: Depart Dubrovnik, Saturday
Disembark after breakfast, bidding your boat and crew farewell. You will be transferred to Dubrovnik airport for your flight home. (B) B: Breakfast; L: Lunch; D: Dinner >

The trip was wonderful. This is our second CIE tour and totally enjoyed both and highly recommend.
Fantastic trip, more than I was expecting.
We greatly enjoyed this tour. The itinerary covered a lot of fabulous places to see, the accommodations were excellent, and the tour guide/coach driver was very entertaining and informative. We will definitely consider CIE and Affordable Tours in booking our next vacation. Thanks!
I expected more hands on guidance in the choice of pubs, more going as a group. However I liked very much our driver/guide, Matt Nolan. His manner was very pleasant, his introductions to the areas we visited and history talks were just enough, and he was skilled driver on the narrow roads. Time on the bus was calm and quiet which seemed to suit us. He managed all the travel details professionally.
Great tour, Highly recommended!
Exceeded my expectations. Wonderful accommodations, very interactive experience with the tour stops.
Wonderful experience, we are looking forward to booking another tour.
Price very reasonable. Nice accommodations. Great tours and good amount of free time.
It was a great experience from beginning to end.
I would highly recommend CIE Tours. The tour, accommodations and food were excellent. Our driver, David, was the best!
2nd trip with CIE. both were up to expectations. good drivers and guides. good selection of places to tour.
This was a great tour with lots of included activities. CIE was very accommodating and helpful.
CIE is a very solid tour company. This was our third trip with CIE and we have toured with five other companies, all well known. CIE is not the cheapest, but the quality is excellent and there are no optional excursions. Everything is included in the price. This means they stick to popular tour options. Optional excursions offer the chance to customize the tour or to opt out of some selections. There were no CIE scheduled attractions that we would have left out. Service and organization were very sound as always.
Our driver/ guide, Murt, made the whole experience very enjoyable. He had a great sense of humor, provided interesting stories & historical events and gave us the best amount of time each day to see all the events on our schedule.
CIE was great. Tour Director was wonderful.
