Health and Safety Protocols for Globus Tours
Today's world has changed, but what remains certain is Globus' commitment to guest safety, comfort and peace-of-mind while traveling with us. To that end, Globus has established a worldwide Assurance program, with enhanced on-trip protocols and procedures, to ensure the health – and happiness – of guests throughout their travels with us.
It all starts with Globus' Global Health & Safety Team, dedicated to ensuring that cleanliness of all operations exceeds today’s travel standards—from start to finish. The following areas address Globus' commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for guests.
A SAFE & WARM WELCOMEGlobus will enact new tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings to offer guests a safe start to their journey, including adherence to social distancing requirements.
BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCEGlobus will ensure safe distances for guests throughout the journey, on coach and during excursions. This includes providing masks for guests use at any time where social proximity could be an issue as well as the possibility of reducing group sizes, if required. And wireless listening technology – including Globus' Go Beyond Devices in Europe – enables safe distances between guests and other travelers on excursions.
FOCUS ON GUEST AND TEAM MEMBER HEALTHTo ensure a healthy environment for team and guests, Globus will conduct regular temperature checks for both guests and team, and when necessary, masks will be worn by Globus' team members when with guests.
TOUCHING HEARTS, NOT HANDSTraveling with Globus removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more. Globus are further reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all self-services replaced by staff, including buffet meals replaced with table service. Globus will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHGlobus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: What pace is this trip? Holland Luxembourg 9 day
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Globus Tours always does a great job. We've done several tours with them.
Our tour director was excellent, very knowledgeable and organized. He always kept us on schedule. The restaurant staff and meal on our final night was not as good as the others, but all of the other meals were good. The hotels were some of the best that we have had. The excursions provided on the trip and the optional excursions that we purchased were well worth the cost. We enjoyed the flowers in the gardens and fields along with the canal excursions the most. We went two days early to make sure that we would have a good day in the flower gardens and it was needed. There was not enough time to see the gardens in the two hours that we had with Globus.
This was my 3rd time with Affordable Tour and I trust them to handle my travel plans. Everything was up front and NO hidden cost. When I have questions, their staff answer my questions within one or two days. So far, all my travel plans/vacations with Affordable Tour went very smoothly. I have no problem so far.
I enjoyed this relatively short trip - a great itinerary. Tour director was excellent and hotels were fine.
Most important is that the tour operatorwas sensitive to the group's needs and very well organized.
This tour, somewhat unfortunately, included several folks with mobility issues who insisted they didn't. The speed (or lack of it) of walking tours was significantly affected and as a result, some "included" sights were never seen. Additional problems with the inability of a few people (always the same ones) who could not remember the correct time to return to the coach, thus impacting the time allotted for the next visit. Globus Tour Director managed to maintain his calm and should be commended for that....short of leaving people behind, he did everything possible. We are considering, however, a smaller Group Tour for next vacation, which will hopefully have more ambulatory folks. This was the first time (of 8 Globus Tours) that the above had happened.
Meals were OK, Hotels were OK. The tour guide, bus driver were excellent. The Hotels were worn and and the service was good at times and terrible at other times, especially the hotel at Amsterdam. The sights were spectacular.
I don't love group travel but booked it because I was traveling with an elderly parent who likes tours.
This was a great trip. The only downside was the hotel in Amsterdam was changed from the original listed in the Globus tour information. The new hotel was nice, but was not conveniently located so we could not walk to any attractions during down time. I would recommend scheduling additional time in Amsterdam, as there was not much free time to do anything outside the scheduled activities.
If possible, go during the KEUKENHOF flower park time, which is mid March to mid May. The tulip displays are just amazing!!
This was a wonderful trip! Our travel guide was excellent and everything ran very smoothly.
Globus does a very good job. They are very reliable.
Excellent tour director , coach and driver. Interesting things to see, and a lot of flexibility. Excellent choice of itinerary. The optional excursions (some of which we wish had been included), as well as the required gratuities to the tour director and driver, added substantially to the overall cost of the trip.
I recommend this tour for someone who is looking for an easy pace and varied itinerary. The location of the hotels is near city center in both Amsterdam and Brussels. Both were very upscale with large rooms and near markets for sodas, beer and snacks. The included dinner at the hotel in Amsterdam was very good, but I would have preferred going out. The Maximus Steakhouse was really good and only five minutes from the hotel. It's next store to the Hard Rock for fans of that chain. The hotel in Luxembourg is in a financial district and far from any convenience stores or attractions. There isn't a lot of free time in Luxembourg City, so it isn't much of a problem. This assumes that you are taking the optional excursion to Trier, which I highly recommend both for the city tour and dinner at Kockelsburg Café. This hotel was a bit run down, and the included meal was a buffet, but the desserts were too die for, so I skipped the salads, and went straight to the main course and filled up on dessert. Of the optional items, avoid the Diamond Center unless you want to shop. Antwerp and Trier are must do's. We skipped the Volendam excursion because of the weather, so have no opinion there. The latest change in Globus itinerary took us through Nuenen, where Van Gogh started his career. Very nice choice. The museum was fairly small, but the walking tour of the city was excellent and more than made up for it. This is something that separates Globus from Trafalgar. I was disappointed with Waterloo, expecting a little more than a movie, hill and panorama. The tour highlight was the Keukenhof flower garden. It was why we booked a May 1st departure and we were not disappointed. The weather was great for most of the tour, but was perfect that day. I'm sure that I took 200 photos as every step through the garden was a memorable one. Our tour director was exceptional. She grew up near Brussels; was friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't spend much time on the bus, so the driver didn't have to show his skills. We had a leased bus that had little space for bags, and no WiFi as it broke at the very beginning of the trip. The only drive that was any length was from Amsterdam to Luxembourg, arriving around 7pm. A great, slow paced tour with easy access to Paris by train for pre or post tour adventures. We loved it.
Keukenhof Gardens were spectacular! We enjoyed Bruges with its canals and beautiful buildings. The food was great, although we missed having music or entertainment with dinners.
BeNeLux was a great trip. We enjoyed it very much.
I loved the whole experience-easily met my expectations! I will travel with Globus again!
Everything about the tour was substandard - overbooked, poor time management, second rate hotel rooms, mediocre meals, little concern for the participants.
The trip was fabulous. It went beyond our expectations. We have already suggested this trip to a friend.

I Have few things to comment about the tour: 1/ the tour guide: it was hard to find the tour guide at the meeting point at AMS airport. He should pose out the manifest with Globus similar to other guides of other tour operator ( e.i: Cosmos, Avalon, Viking..). 2/ the tour itinerary should be revised with including The Antwerp in the last day morning, afternoon free , farewell diiner in the evening ( not list as optional). The visit of Keukenhof should be longer. 2 hour is not enough to cover the large park
