Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The tour director was not very amicable, in fact we experienced various instances where she was rude with other tourmates.
For this Gate 1 independent travel trip: Hotel: our stay at Hotel Puccini was very nice, and it's location is central and convenient, both within the town of Montecatini Terme and in Tuscany in general. Rental car: insurance coverage included in Gate One's package was quite good--a pleasant surprise--we only added glass protection, which was not expensive.
Myriam, our travel guide, was the best. I would definitely book another tour with her.
Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and personable. Our Tour Manager Viviana was AMAZING! Vivi definitely elevated our tour experience and I believe that my fellow travelers would agree. Vivi ensured that all of us were well taken care of and because of her we all kept talking about taking more Gate1 tours. The tour itself can be amazing but the tour manager ensures that the travelers get the most out of their experiences! The meals and meal experiences in Tuscany and Florence were wonderful. The group dinner (meal itself) at the Metropole in Rome left a lot to be desired but the hotel amenities & staff were great.
This was the best tour guide I have had in my travels. He was always available, courteous, most helpful, full of energy and always with a smile. Whatever you pay him, you should double it.
The trip to Italy exceeded my expectations in many ways. The hotels were clean & adequate. The tour manager was amazing. She was immensely helpful and we were grateful to be on tour with her daily. The bus was very comfortable & she gave us a lot of interesting history that was above and beyond. It was fantastic to have a tour guide to interpret, made the trip much more informative, chose excellent places (for example the Tuscany lunch and traditional dinner with music, opera dinner in Rome), which we never would have found ourselves. The day in Capri was unbelievably beautiful. Travelling with a group of 30 was great, to have English speaking companions at meal time & got to be friends with many. Also being on tour, we were able to skip the cue lines at the Vatican and the museums. I have recommended the tour to a few friends already & would definitely do another gate 1 tour.
I enjoyed the trip immensely and I am looking forward to booking another trip soon.
This was an amazing trip with wonderful guides both locally and for the entire tour. Last moment change of hotels was to our great benefit. Most hotels were as described on tripadvisor. Would definately recommend this tour and company again
This is our second tour thru Gate 1 and booked thru Affordable Tour.....Very well organized + great value. Our tour guide was exceptional!...............We had great time!
