Also, rest assured that during your trip, the teams work to ensure the supplier partners (hotels, restaurants, museums and other venues) are also applying the same standard to these new hygiene and distancing protocols, to the extent possible.
Question: What are the optional side tours @ each city?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Insight is one of the best tour providers I have used for a group tour. The guide provided was excellent, all but one of the hotels were perfectly located and the included meals all done very well. On the downside insight included very few local tours Most tours/local experiences were optional.
Great trip with very knowledgeable travel director who lives in Poland.Hotels were excellent except for Westin Warsaw. Visited many towns, exhausting but very worthwhile trip.
Everything was wonderful on this trip. The hotel Mercure in Gdansk was a disappointment. The rooms were extremely small, only had 2 small pillows on the bed and the bathtub was very slippery and the entire hotel was dreary and dark. All of the other hotels were excellent.
There was quite a bit of walking. I also think the quilts on the beds were too warm for this time of year.
You mentioned walking on the tour and that it was not difficult, what you failed to mention was that the walking was on rocky, uneven paths and streets and that it is difficult for anyone with a mobility problem to achieve. There were also an inordinate amount of steps required to see many of the sights. I was unable to share these experiences with my travel mates because of my disability. Also, you should ask in your initial booking if walk in showers are needed. Personally, I have a great deal of difficulty getting into and out of a bathtub. This was also an inconvenience for me, that made my experience a little less than pleasant. Also, the very early wake up and long and sometimes interminable bus rides were not as I expected.
All of the hotels we stayed in were very nice However, some still had the old style high tubs in The bathroom. These are very hard for older people.
Only thing I didn't like , was 1 night we had a group dinner, they served duck, it was cold. We were not offered any choices and most of the group didn't eat it. Very disappointed.
We really enjoy Insight Vacations. The only negative is the price of the optional tours. More customers would participate if they were more cost effective.
The tour, the tour director, and bus driver were extremely wonderful! I was impressed with all accomodations and the knowledge and professionalism of all those involved in providing a fantastic experience. In addition, our tour director was most helpful in providing me with information and assistance in getting to additional places that I hoped to see after the official tour had ended.
Well organized and hotels were always very nice. Tour director was excellent in her knowledge, and her attention to the individuals in the group. Will definitely book future tours with this company.
Everything about this trip was superbly handled, professional in every aspect and done with a most pleasant and courteous staff!
The trip to Poland with Insight Tours was fantastic. We had 40 people on our tour, which seemed like a lot, but the guides made it so easy for everyone to be accommodated and to feel special. Sometimes we split up into smaller groups. We saw numerous cities, a lot of countryside, and learned so much history. I would highly recommend this tour.
Highlights of Poland was a wonderful Insight tour vacation. Would recommend everyone do this trip. Loved all the cities, but Gdansk was the very best. Absolutely a worth while experience.
