Health and Safety Protocols for Cosmos Tours
Today's world has changed, but what remains certain is Cosmos' commitment to guest safety, comfort and peace-of-mind while traveling with us. To that end, Cosmos has established a worldwide Assurance program, with enhanced on-trip protocols and procedures, to ensure the health – and happiness – of guests throughout their travels with us.
It all starts with Cosmos' Global Health & Safety Team, dedicated to ensuring that cleanliness of all operations exceeds today’s travel standards—from start to finish. The following areas address Cosmos' commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for guests.
A SAFE & WARM WELCOMECosmos will enact new tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings to offer guests a safe start to their journey, including adherence to social distancing requirements.
BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCECosmos will ensure safe distances for guests throughout the journey, on coach and during excursions. This includes providing masks for guests use at any time where social proximity could be an issue as well as the possibility of reducing group sizes, if required. And wireless listening technology – including Cosmos' Go Beyond Devices in Europe – enables safe distances between guests and other travelers on excursions.
FOCUS ON GUEST AND TEAM MEMBER HEALTHTo ensure a healthy environment for team and guests, Cosmos will conduct regular temperature checks for both guests and team, and when necessary, masks will be worn by Cosmos' team members when with guests.
TOUCHING HEARTS, NOT HANDSTraveling with Cosmos removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more. Cosmos are further reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all self-services replaced by staff, including buffet meals replaced with table service. Cosmos will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Cosmos' commitment to clean, Cosmos is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHCosmos has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
I was not informed that I had to tip both the driver and the tour guide . The recommendation for the tip was large and something I could not afford, yet It was highly recommended that I complete this.. I would NOT recommend this tour to any vegetarian/vegan as there is a lack of good quality food, and limited (if at all) vegetarian options).. I ended up quite sick from lack of good quality food. Aga( the woman whom I booked the tour with) told me I would get vegetarian food on my trip. Well it was limited and un healthy
The Trip through Old South Florida was wonderful the hotels were 4 Star clean and comfortable. From the great food and rich history of New Orleans, to Memphis being able to walk on the same spot of some of the great singers and songwriter through the recording studio listening to sounds of the past on Beale Street and visiting the home of Elvis & Dr. Martin Luther King was surreal. Nashville was our all time favorite, the music the city and seeing Brad Paisley, Cassie Pope, and Chris Young being inducted in the Grand Old Opry. Savannah was a city that everyone should see so much to do and see the trolley ghost tour was fun, bicycle bar, sitting the roof top bar watching the sunset and the big ship go by, or just sitting in the park were the made the movie Forrest Gump. Or touring the Victorian home were there made the movie the Good And Evil, St Augustine was fun make sure you don\'t miss the Fort they have reenactment everyday shoot off the cannon. And of course Orlando is for big kids too even through it felt strange to be without our kids, we visited Disney Springs and Epcot rode the rides and the visited countries they had the food and wine festival while we were there. Fun Times. But best of all a big thank you and shout out to our tour director for going above and beyond her duties to make sure that all 42 guest were taken care and had a wonderful time. She even had our transfer done and printed or boarding passes for flight home. Thanks for the memories we will never forget you. SO PUT YOUR WALKING SHOES ON AND GET READY FOR A FUN AND EXCITING ADVENTURE. October 25, 2017 from New Jersey

Overall, we enjoyed this tour a lot. Our guide, Melanie was outstanding and made the tour very enjoyable from the moment we met her. Ditto to our driver, Sam, who made us feel safe with him at the wheel. We both were disappointed with the short tour we had in New Orleans the day after we arrived. The guide on the bus was great, but, was only given 2 3/4 hrs. to show us the area and talk about the different landmarks we passed! Needless to say, this was a big disappointment since we always had full day tours on the other Cosmos trips we've taken. Also, it was more mandatory than optional when it came to taking the "Optional Tours!" If we hadn't booked them we were basically on our own to find things to do. Never had that with our other tours! Was disappointed that no transportation was provided to take us to our first "Optional Tour" in New Orleans the evening we went on the dinner & river cruise. We had to walk from the hotel to the harbor and afterwards, walk back to the hotel. Again, never experienced that with the other Cosmos tours. At Graceland, since that was included as part of the tour, so should the museums have been as well. Thought it quite petty to make it an "optional tour" when we were there already!!!
