COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHGlobus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: Will we see the famous prehistoric cave paintings in Chauvet Cave and the WWII battlefields?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The tour by Globus was disappointing but had nothing to do with our agent Steve. We are more than pleased with his services and have enjoyed about 6 tours wit Globus but this one was NOT up tp par. The guide was very knowledgeable about history way back but talked nothing of today's cylture and politices in France. Whe touched on schools a tid bit. She did not answer questions and when she infrequently did it was with a didn't you listen? We plan to write to Globus to let them know we were dissatisfied with some of the hotels, guide and dinners at hotel.
many hours on the bus not enough time at some of the stops
Excellent, knowledgeable tour director. Really enhanced our experience. Great way to tour around France and get a feel for all the areas and cities. Was fun learning the food specialties of each area and industry they are known for.
This tour is for those who want to see a lot of France. Our tour guide, MarieClaire, was excellent and was an old hand at French tours. The tour was as described, the hotels were mostly good quality and conveniently located for you to go out on your own. The optional side tours that include dinner, such as Ese, were not great. For the price I expected better food. The one exception to this was the farmhouse dinner in the Loire valley. That is not to be missed. I would also skip the WW II Atlantic wall tour, as there is very little left to see of it. The Moulin Rouge show was good, food average, and you will be crammed into the theater like sardines. Monte Carlo night is worth going to only if you really want to see the Monte Carlo Casino. It is not that impressive from the outside, and they charge a cover charge of $10-20 Euros to go into the casino. This is not included in the tour charge. The Montmartre tour is excellent. You might want to avoid the Louvre tour as it happens on the last day of your tour and you will be exhausted by then. We spent an extra day in Paris after the tour and spent the entire day at the Louvre. You really can see much more if you are not rushed out of there in a few hours.
All was good. I especially liked our tour director, Philip. He was pleasant and professional and his history lessons, etc while on board the bus were informative and interesting. I do have a safety suggestion for all hotels. Getting out of a bathtub was extreamly slippery and I even slipped and fell the fist day at the Marriott in Paris. There should be safety handles installed on every wall of each bathtub and shower. I ultimately placed a towel on the floor of the tub/shower so it would be less slippery. I asked a few traveling companions and those with bathtubs agreed it was slippery when exiting.
All were as expected except a couple of hotel meals. In France we expect the food to be outstanding every time.
Christine did a great job! She is always professional, courteous, and friendly. Thanks Christine!
very professional, caring and knowledgeable in all aspects of our trip. Thumbs up!!
Globus did an exceptional job of providing everything that was described in my travel documents. Tour Director, was excellent!
This tour was interesting, informative and rewarding. It gave a wonderful overview of French history and the stops at so many different cities exposed us to the regions/cities we'd most enjoy spending more time in on future trips.
Great trip! The tour director and bus driver from Globus are the best. They made our experience in France so much more enjoyable and special.
La France Tour is the best Tour of France to see all the different Regions in the Country. Our Tour Guide was the best Guide I have ever experienced on the many Tours I have taken.
Good value for the money. Hotels locations were good and meals provided were very nice. The bus driver and tour guide were very good.
Good value for the money. Enjoyed the trip with globus
This is the third trip I've taken with Globus and the food on the "included" meals is getting worse with every trip. I was looking forward to sampling that wonderful French cuisine I hear so much about. Except for the optional excursions (which are quite expensive) the food was very disappointing.
Over all, it was a great trip. Tour Director and Driver did a splendid and excellent job!
Lourdes Candlelight Procession and Rosary was very moving. French Riviera was beautiful. Normandy Beaches were impressive history. Local Cuisine was delicious.
I enjoyed every day of it. The Tour Director, the Chauffeur and the Coach were exceptional, including all the stops for Toilettes, everything was very well managed. My only upset was the rotation situation, I would have much preferred to be assigned a seat and be done with it. The same few people seem to end up-front continually. It is not in my nature nor my upbringing to be pushy and remind people that they are not being fair to others. Not enough of a major problem to complain to the Tour Director who was continually doing things to accommodate and respect everyone of us...Final impression, I had a most wonderful tour.
Tour Director was excellent.
This trip offers so much more than the similar one with Trafalger. Highly recommend this one
Our 8th Globus Trip. The tour director was one of the best. Her knowledge of the culture and history of France was amazing. She was a walking encyclopedia...excellent. Hotels, attractions, itinerary was excellent. It wasn't a perfect trip however. The included dinner at the hotel in Nimes was terrible. The meat was cold, fatty, and poorly presented. Coffee and tea were not served by the wait staff. We were told to get our beverages in the bar if we wanted them. Had we been in the US, we would have walked out and refused to pay for the meal. The worst meal experience among our 8 Globus trips. We didn't allow it to ruin our trip however. Yes, we will travel with Globus again. Hopefully soon.
Globus tours seem to attract a 'too-large' group and this particular tour had too many one night stops, also. In the future, I will look for smaller groups or maybe do some private touring.
Globus did not communicate properly with their staff when our plane was changed. We reported that plane had been changed to the number given, they did not advise staff in Paris, therefore, staff at airport was very concerned as to our whereabouts when we finally found each other. We, also, were concerned if we would be picked up after hours looking for our Globus ride from Paris airport. We lost the day in Paris due to plane changed and delay in being picked up from airport. I called hotel looking for Globus staff and hotel didn't know of Globus staff there. cost of $3.00 a minute rather expensive call which accomplished nothing. Travelers need a phone number to call if not picked up at airport as planned. Trip was good... once we arrived in Paris. It was rather large group, but all got along fine and on time. I would prefer a little smaller group. Our tour guide did a fantastic job handling such a large group. We enjoyed all of the extra excursions we took and thought they were important part of the trip. Of course we wished we had more time at some of the areas. It was a fast pace trip as we thought it would be. Enjoyed the train and river cruise at night. It was fun to compare the sand dunes to our Sleeping Bear dunes in MI. It was expensive for us to purchase food and items, but Australians thought it was a bargain. All in your perspective from home. Glad to be home to our $1.00 drinks!
We enjoyed the Globus LaFrance tour..it was a busy pace for 15 days and we saw so much of France.
We were very pleased with our experience with Affordable and Globus.
The hotel accomodations were decent, however in 5 out of the 10 hotels we stayed in the breakfasts were truly unsatisfactory accompanied by rude servers!! Basically had to purchase my own breakfasts elsewhere.

The tour was exactly as advertised, Our only complaint is that the itinerary included too many single night stops. In the future we will probably only take bus tours that have a minimum of two day stops with certain regions easily capable of supporting a three night stop, i.e. Bordeaux, Nimes, Nice, Loire Valley, and the Dijon wine area.
