Tour Itinerary
Scenes from Scripture, scenes of the desert, and even scenes from the movies await on this historical and biblical tour of Israel and Jordan. As you travel from Tel Aviv, the “Mediterranean Manhattan,” to the calming waters of the Dead Sea, you’ll come alive as you float in the salt-laden lake, immerse yourself in fascinating UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and dig into out-of-this world plates of mezze—the Middle East’s version of Spanish tapas. Between the moving sites of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam, you will be inspired by a variety of breathtaking natural wonders. Feel exhilarated on a four-wheel drive through the sand dunes of Wadi Rum, visit Wadi Mujib, the “Jordanian Grand Canyon,” and channel your inner “Indy” as you navigate the narrow gorge of the Siq at the rock-cut archaeological site of Petra—made famous in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Globus will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHGlobus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: What is group size for Globus Israel and Wonders of Jordon?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
It was a very active tour which we really liked. Can't find anything to improve except for the long layover coming home.
I was completely satisfied witht the tour. Certainly met or exceeded my expectations.
Globus provided its usual outstanding job on this tour. They exceeded expectations. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, considerate and helpful.
I have used Globus many times in the past and have never been disappointed
When the Israel tour guide was interrupted while providing information he apparently would forget what was being discussed and start a new subject never finishing the first. Also he frequently had a problem coming up with English words so there were many long pauses. However he did an excellent job of watching over members of the tour and insuring that everyone was accounted for. The group in Jordan was small and the guide was very good.
The entire trip exceeded all of my expectations! Everything was so well planned and executed that I could just enjoy the tour.
I would like to say that let people know that Dead sea in Jordan is better place to swim. Try to give option for lunch in Bethlehem rather than a fixed place chosen by tour guide/company. We had the worst experience as they cheated on the price! Attitude was horrible too.
Globus information sent to us said we needed a visa to enter Jordan. We went to the expense and inconvenience of obtaining one. On the trip we realized no one else had done so. It was not an issue. Did Globus get it for them? Our experience with other tour companies has been that tour directors were always with us and willing to go out of their way to help people. The bus driver in Jordan did not even help people get on and off the bus which was sometimes a big step.
The trip was great partly due to Shannon's booking and advice; also the tour directors were very good, especially the one in Jordan. I always recommend Globus tours and Shannon, the agent who takes care of our bookings.
The hotels were dirty. I had to clean the top of nightstands, bathroom counters, phones, etc. The hotel ratings were 4.5 stars maybe the staff's were not trained how to clean the hotel rooms.
We are disappointed with the Globus itinerary and the size of group, The group size in Israel is 47 passengers, and when few people left in the last day of Israel, there are 11 more passengers joined us in Jordan, it is again too large for a narrow seated bus. On the day we are in Jordan, the other 11 people refused to rotate seats and we have some conflicts. One passenger from the other group (TG1008) used coarse language to attack me, I just want to sit where I supposed to as the rotation arrangement from day 1. It really left me a bad taste in my mouth. As our group is large enough why should we be joining the others. I hope that you as my agent should make complaint to Globus about the my mistreatment by their arrangement to put more people on the bus to make some more money. The itinerary was too condense that left no time to relaxe, In Israel the traffic was so congested that the tour guide cannot keep up the program so we have to take lunch at 2pm, even at 03:30 pm, it it hard to accept as most of us are elderly. Anyway it is my first experience with Globus which was recommended by your Karen, and it would be my last.
The entire trip was a great experience. One regret was that we were informed that we would not need a visa for Jordan only 2 days after we received our visas from their embassy....very unfortunate timing and expense.
Excellent vacation that matched or exceeded my expectations.
We chose this tour because of 2 nights of stay at Petra. It is the highlight of Jordan's attractions, I always want to go. But most of the companies only offer 1 day of stay or day trip from Isreal. We were very pleased with the whole trip, i.e. itinerary covered most of major tourist attractions, comfortable accommodation, professional tour directors and drivers.
We have as of today booked 15 trips w Globus since 1995 but Globus outperformed with their expertise in Jordan!! This was a great experience with one of the best guides to this day we have had. We also stayed in fabulous 5 star hotels. The highlight was dinner in the big tent. Just want to say we enjoyed this trip very much. Thank you Globus
Affordable Tours was always there for me and answered all questions I had concerning my tour. Price value was excellent and well worth the money compared to other companies. Great food and transportation service throughout the tour.
We found the Israel hotels to be below average with the longest stay in the Jerusalem Dan Panorama to be one of the worst hotels we stayed in our travels throughout the world. It turns out that this hotel has both a "new" and old section. Apparently Globus reserved rooms only in the old section of the hotel.
1. Dan Panorama in Jerusalem: Shower was very dirty and moldy and significant water was leaking on the floor. 2. Amman Marriot: excellent. 3. Petra Marriot: needs lot more improvements. It had a moldy bath and was leaking. Overall, well below Marriot standard. 4. Jordan Valley Marriot: excellent. 5. Consider improving cleaning tour bus in Jordan. 6. Complimentary water not provided on Israel tour bus and $1.00 for a small bottle was charged. 7. Israel tour spent a significant time on religion and not to the point of sights visited, and this reduced time on enjoying and spending time at interested point including at Dead Sea. 8. Just for your information, 15 tourists left Jordan Valley Marriott at 3 pm and a promised box of breakfast was not made available. Pick-up drivers were not aware about carry-on bags, but somehow squeezed them in.

Overall excellent experience. Tour Director in Israel was very knowledable and friendly. Accomodation is above average. Pace of the tour was apporopriate, which allows us to have some free time to explore local sites. Cons: Optional excursions are very expensive. Airport pickup and drop-off services are also expensive.
