Globus will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHGlobus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Our Globus Tour, German Highlights with Oberammergau-Faith Based, was more than we could have ever imagined! Our tour guide was absolutely fabulous!!! I would highly recommend this fabulous tour!!
Thanks to Vince, tour guide, and the driver for making the experience excellent.
The tour German Highlights was a wonderful experience, this is my first time using this operator (Globus) and I highly recommended. The entire operation was well planned, the tour included more sightseeing that expected, the tour director was excellent in every way and the hotels were more centrally located than my previous experiences and that alone is worth the praise. !
The tour used a new hotel chain: NH collection, which was not up to the standard of the other hotels. The rooms were smaller, in two hotels there was a window in the bathroom that, although the glass was tinted, shone a light on the bed when the bathroom was used at night, disturbing the second occupant of the room. We couldn't figure out the purpose of this window. the staff at these hotels were uniformly helpful and courteous, so this is not a reflection on them, just on the poor design of the rooms.
The tour operator substituted a hotel at the last minute, but it was a lovely place and we enjoyed staying there. The meals at the hotels, however, could use some improvement by offering a wider selection of entrees to choose from. At one hotel the option was chicken or Vegetarian.
Our tour started on a rough note. The advertised, and much looked forward too, train trip to Berlin was canceled by railroad due to bad weather the previous night. Globus did their best to make up for it but never-the-less it did not take place. This cast NO BAD REFLECTION on Wilford our tour guide ond Balush(sic) our driver. They jumped through hoops to get us to Berlin. Globus did too but still the result was a serious disappointment.
Frankfurt hotel would be better in the downtown. Welcome dinner would better should be quality than quantity. It was big big portion, beef was not tasty at all. Everybody left some portion. Optional tour on May 24th, country dinner's music was violin solo was not adequately.
The tour director was excellent. The bus driver was excellent as well. The Berlin hotel was located in a somewhat dangerous area. Had to walk in front of gangs on the corner and drunks laying in doorways to walk to dinner. Restaurant was Ming dynasty which we chose and it was great but had to walk the first 2 blocks thru this mess. Realize this is out of control per hotel so I would avoid hotel in the future.
Quite an extensive tour of Germany. The days were filled from early morning to early evening. The hotels were quite good ..included dinners were good but could have provided more choice and variety. The optional excursions were fairly priced. It seemed like there was a lot of time on our own in Berlin and Munich...while other stops felt slightly rushed. The tour guide was excellent..very personable and organized.
WIth the understanding that this was a TOUR, not a vacation, it did go by quickly. All the choices for our 12 days were interesting, well-informed adventures with one exception. Our visit to Neuschwanstein was a bitter disappointment, especially because I had built up such expectations for the adult grandchildren and my daughter who came to Germany with me. Having visited this beautiful and interesting area 3 times prior to traveling with Globus, I find the castle has become nothing more than a real photo opportunity with the castle in the background. The current restoration or construction on the red gate is easily understood to be a bit of an issue, however, did that require everything in the interior is covered, removed, or otherwise unavailable to the viewing public? The effort made by many, myself age 77 included, was definitely not worth valuable time we could have spent elsewhere. I have seen, been through, and know there are a great many wondrous sights to behold in Neuschwanstein, on this occasion we were hustled through approximately 4 rooms, no mention made about the floor design in the Singers Hall, the walls or the story behind the paintings thereon neither acknowledged nor explained to neophytes. Not even a peek at some of the covered furnishings. Other than a fair mention of the throne room, the entire visit was a real dud! I certainly do not hold Globus accountable for the pathetic method tours (or less than enthusiastic or ill-informed castle guides) are evidently conducted, I simply see no reason to waste time or effort making the castle a part of any future tours. I am very disappointed, it has been a favorite since granddaughters were young and energetic enough to RUN up the side of the mountain in the mid-1990's! Sorry to be so long-winded, once upon a time it truly seemed to be a Cinderella castle.
Always answered all of my questions, went above and beyond to get us the lowest prices, and to match the trip we wanted to our time availability.
I had another great experience travelling with Globus. Is my second time with them and I highly recommend them.
Globus tour guide and bus driver were both exceptional! The tour was a nice exposure to Germany. Occasionally, it would've been nice to spend a bit more time; it sometimes felt rushed. That is not all the fault of the tour provider, however. We had some fellow tourists that were consistently late to the bus which impacted everyone. Overall, a great experience!
This was my third Globus tour, so I knew what to expect. When we booked we knew this would be a fast paced tour but we would get to see a lot of Germany. Our tour bus was new. Our bus drivers and tour director were excellent. It was nice that Globus gave us all a bottle of water each day on tour, it was a nice gesture and it helped to not have to always hunt for water at every bus stop. Germany was wonderful!
The tour with Globus was very tiring, but we enjoyed all that we saw. We will probably not book another highlights tour again. We would prefer to stay at least 2 nights at each location rather than the fast-moving schedule on this tour.
Amazing trip, great itinerary
An outstanding tour to see a lot of Germany. But the reason we were able to enjoy the long bus rides was our guide who was so knowledgeable, caring, humorous and meticulous in informing us of all we needed to know. His multicultural background and years of experience made him the best guide we have ever experienced.
Was a wonderful package. Gave a nice snapshot of Germany. The accomodations were wonderful. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and provided lots of information on each area.
All of the provided information about the trip was accurate. The Tour Director was not only professional but took a personal interest in the wellbeing of each of us. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and shared it with us. The Driver was very friendly, cautious and drove safely, making the trip even more enjoyable.
This trip was fantastic, it greatly exceeded our expectations. The guide went out of his way to add more. He had a answer for every question and he sought out info constantly. Plus he was very amusing, also kind and considerate. We loved the hotels, the food the cities. The Black Forest and Bavaria very incredible. There were no problems. I had to go to an emergency clinic on a Sunday nite, he went with us and translated, when we were told it was cash only he offered us money if we didn't have enough. It was not needed, then he went to an all nite pharmacy got my medication. Our group was like a bunch of old friends we had a blast. The dinner excursions were a great deal of fun and we were glad we took advantage of them. We consider this trip a 5 star experience. Also our driver was an exceptional driver. Also he was helpful with getting on and off the bus. We can't wait to travel with Globus again.
Sometimes the motorcoach was a little long. Maybe suggest a little more time for walking around and more physical things. May have more age related so if older groups want a less vigorous activity, then they can bow out
We had a wonderful start to our trip, the tour guide was very experienced, pleasant & provided ample information to us. He was highly professional, responsive and patient at all times. The driver was friendly & also very helpful. Thank you very much!
Globus did a great job as always. Hotels were better than excellent in all locations.
Tour, tour guide, hotels, all great!
We would take the same trip in a heart beat, but we must admit we both had a difficult time understanding our Croatian tour guide because her accent was very heavy. We are inexperienced global travelers, and it definitely impacted the enjoyment of our trip. She was quite knowledgeable.
Loved the German Highlights, tour guide and bus driver from Budapest.
The experience was, overaall, very good however I was disappointed with several of the hotel selections. Most were to far from city center. Using Dusseldorf as an example, we arrive early evening but were so far out of the main area we never got a chance to see or explore Dussledorf. in Frankfort and Berlin we had the same problem...to far from city center. Most meals were hotel provided and were far below expectations.
One of the most enjoyable trips of my life. Our tour guide was spectacular, very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. Everything was so well planned and nothing left out. It has made me want to return to some areas seen so that more time could be spent at some places such as Bavaria. How beautiful it was and the best part of the trip for me. I am planning another trip with Globus for next summer, possibly to Scotland. Carol
My husband and I had never taken a trip like this so we had nothing to compare. But the rest of the group had traveled on tours like this and they said that we had a top notched tour guide and was planned very well. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and are planning one in the near future. Thank you
Some optional excursions listed were not offered (symphony in Berlin, etc) and a few of the rooms we had were facing busy streets, so with the windows open it was noisey. Scott our tour guide with globus was exceptional. And as always it was great meeting and socializing with friendly tour travelers from all over the US. Our experience with Globus continues to be super...never had a bad trip or experience. And of course, I always love the breakfasts to get charged up for a busy day of touringl
We had a great time - it was an excellent experience overall!
The tour director on this trip did an outstanding job during the entire tour with her professionalism and knowledge.
Trip was very enjoyable. Globus provided a very competent tour guide and driver . Amount of at leisure time was just right. It allowed us to experience each city without feeling rushed.
Some of the hotels did NOT have air conditioning (or refused to turn it on) which is what I asked prior to booking this trip. Since it was hotter in EU for this time of year than normal, many nights were spent without much sleep. Also, many of these hotel locations are not in city centers or places that are walkable to the sites. They were almost always on the outskirts of everything, so any free time that we had we needed to grab a taxi to see anything. They were nice hotels otherwise.
Had a great vacation, which exceeded my expectations, can't wait for the next one, just have to decide where next :-)
