Activity: The adventure begins tonight. Feel free to explore before your welcome meeting, but make sure you're back in time to meet the group. Check for the meeting time on the welcome note at the hotel. After introductions, your CEO will review the details of your tour. Please note that normal check-in times apply at our start hotels, but you can usually store your luggage for the day if you arrive early.

VeniceTake an orientation walk through the local markets and neighbourhoods of Venice. Opt to visit museums, churches, the Doge's Palace, or take a gondola ride.
Activity: Enjoy a brief walk with your CEO. He/she will give you some tips on finding things like supermarkets, main squares, and ATMs. For more specific or in-depth information, an official guided tour is recommended.
Free Time: Admire great Renaissance works of art at the Accademia or the Scuola di San Rocco, or visit the Peggy Guggenheim Gallery for more contemporary pieces.

Venice/Cinque TerreHead to Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean. Visit Monterosso al Mare, a charming village nestled in the hillside. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore the villages along the crystal clear Ligurian Sea.

Free Time: There is still so much more of Florence to explore - its famous pontes, cathedrals, and shops. To see a side of the city that many miss, take the city bus to the town of Fiesole for breathtaking views over Florence.

Day 6

Florence/NaplesCatch the train to Naples with the option to enjoy a fantastic meal in the birthplace of pizza. Opt to visit the National Archaeological Museum.
Transport: Climb aboard, take a seat, and enjoy the ride.
Free Time: "See Naples and die," the saying goes, and it's true. The tight roads, honking cars, busy restaurants, museums, three castles, and its waterfront bring it alive. Don't forget the infamous volcano, Mount Vesuvius. You can't say you went to Naples - the birthplace of pizza - until you have eaten some, so buon appetito!

Day 8
Naples/SorrentoThe day begins with an excursion to the ruins of ancient Pompeii with an archaeologist. Continue by private bus to Sorrento, where you're welcomed to the south by panoramic views of the sea before settling in for the night.
Activity: Walk through the ruins of Pompeii, the city buried under ash and pumice when Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79. The forum, the baths and many houses remain well preserved and provide us with a glimpse of what life was like in the first century. Explore with an archaeologist, what is considered one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe and is unparallelled in its preservation of an ancient city.

Sorrento to Amalfi CoastVisit an organic lemon farm to see how limoncello is made from beginning to end. Stroll through fragrant lemon groves and enjoy a taste of this delicious liqueur. Travel to the stunning Amalfi coast for lunch at a local agriturismo that specializes in home grown, delicious produce. Meet the family and tour the property — a converted 17th-century monastery. Head into the fields and gardens to learn about local produce and herbs, then sit down to a wonderful meal of local fare surrounded by lush greenery, open terraces, and groves overlooking the Mediterranean. Continue to the hotel, which offers spectacular views of the coastline.
Activity: Visit an organic lemon farm and get an in-depth look at one of Italy's best-loved beverages, limoncello, from a local producer. Take in panoramic views of the sea as you stroll through the fragrant lemon groves and learn about the history of the agriturismo. Amalfi CoastHike the famous "Path of the Gods," (weather permitting) following ancient paths and trails linking isolated farms, villages, churches, and monasteries
Transport: Settle in and scan the scenery from the convenience of a private vehicle.
Activity: Set off from the small town of Bomerano and follow the path along the Amalfi Coast with sensational views of lemon groves, gorges, deep valleys, woodland, abandoned farmhouses, and the sea below. Stop in the towns of Montepertuso and Positano, where there is more to explore. Note that hikes are accessible for all travellers, but there can be sections that are more strenuous and challenging due to terrain. Please ensure you have proper hiking footwear.
