The Globus Tour was a fast pace package of traveling over bumpy roads and a lot of dust but we saw almost all animals. In order to see the animals, all must realize the roads are rough. I felt this was rather exciting but some others in our group didn't. We had 15 in our group and were in 3 vehicles. Our guide was only with us a couple of days. Our first driver was great. Our second driver was lacking. He was very quiet and not very informing until we ask. If we sat in the back, we could not hear the driver at all. I ask our guide (at the start of the trip) if we should rotate seats. He said he didn't care but having been on a Globus tour before, I suggested we follow this routine in our van and it worked great. He should have told all in the 2 other vehicles to follow the same pattern. The availability or lack of electricity and hot water at some of the locations was new to some in the group. We are seasoned road warriors and really enjoyed the experience and would love to repeat the trip again.

I booked The Great Parks of Kenya, a Globus Tour. The accommodations exceeded my expectations as I'd never experienced a tented camp - they were more like a wood frame with canvass sides & roofs but with ceramic/tiled bathrooms. Booking this safari through Affordable tours gave me the lowest price on the internet, including Globus site. I have already recommended Affordable Tours to others. I fully intend on using them on my trip!
