Featuring unique lodges and tented camps, custom-made 4-wheel-drive safari vehicles, and exclusive meals in the bush, this Kenya and Tanzania tour promises larger than life experiences and countless memories. You’ll savor the unique terrain and wildlife at seven renowned national parks, reserves, and conservancies, including the famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, and the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This is also your best chance to see the rare black rhinoceros. An exclusive [LF] bush lunch will be served in the crater. (B,L,D)LOCAL FAVORITECRATER CATERING Because of the time it takes to descend into and ascend out of the crater it’s normal practice to eat lunch in the crater. Day 12
NGORONGORO–SERENGETI NATIONAL PARKOn the Endless PlainsDrive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s largest and most famous park. The Serengeti covers an area of roughly 5,700 square miles, so it is no surprise that the name comes from the Maasai word siringit, meaning “endless plains.” Enjoy lunch at your tented camp before an afternoon game drive. You have the chance to see the big cats—lion, leopard, and cheetah—as well as an abundance of other animals, including the Nile crocodile, giraffe, gazelle, and eland. With some luck you may even spot something much rarer, like a caracal, a beautiful cat with distinctive ears.(B,L,D)

A SAFE & WARM WELCOMEGlobus will conduct tour check-in procedures and pre-trip health screenings to offer guests a safe start and peace of mind throughout the journey. This includes proof of vaccination for all guests.
BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCEThere may be times on tour or on the motorcoach when social distancing is required. We will take care in assuring any local guidelines are followed in a safe and comfortable way for our guests. For any cases where masks are required due to local guidelines, we ask that guests bring their own approved N95 (FFP2) masks for their own comfort and safety. Our wireless listening technology enables safe distances between our guests and other travelers during excursions.
FOCUS ON GUEST AND TEAM MEMBER HEALTHTo ensure a healthy environment for each of our guests and our team, our Tour Directors, Local Hosts, and motorcoach drivers are fully vaccinated, and Globus is also requiring that all travelers are fully vaccinated before joining the trips. Additionally, regular guest checks are conducted, and, when required by local guidelines, masks will be worn by our guests and by our team when accompanying guests. In all other cases, masks are optional for guests.
TOUCHING HEARTS, NOT HANDSTraveling with Globus removes many of the “touch points” of travel, including luggage handling, check in/out, expedited entry into attractions and more. Globus are further reducing risk with hands-free service, meaning all self-services replaced by staff, including buffet meals replaced with table service. Globus will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.
COMMITMENT TO CLEANAs a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.
PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTHGlobus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Question: Are carry-on roller boards ok as long as they meet size requirements?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Wonderful experience. As always Globus exceeded expectations but do heed the warning - those who are not physically fit should not take this particular trip.
Globus tours to Kenya and Tanzania are excellent and reasonable. The food and accomodations were great. The tour director and driver in Kenya are outstanding, not the case in Tanzania where they were ok. Out tour was the last to have sepate tour director and driver in each country. Future safaris will have the same driver and director which is more convenieny. Did not like the stops in shops where bathroom use is free but the prices of merchandises are outrageous. Bargain hard. Some places in Tanzania have fixed prices that are too high. Carefull buying Tanzanite as they are priced very high in those stops. No one weighed our bags but size of bag must be respected as spaces in safari cars are limited. Getting Tanzania visa is very easy and quick when entering the country. No need for photos. Fill an application form and pay $100. No one checked our yellow fever immunization. Weather was much warner in every place than reported in brochure provided by Globus. Wear any color cloths and not worry about the warning in the brochure. For Kenya get the e-visa.
The trip was wonderful. The drivers and tour directors in Kenya and Tanzania were wonderful. But thevladt row seats were cramped since we were 6 passengers. Globus should include visit to anthropological museum in Tanzania in the itinerary. We missed it. Also include dust masks in things to pack.
This trip was amazing! All of the drivers and tour guides were awesome and the staff at all of the accommodations were super friendly and helpful!
Fantastic adventure with a truly great tour director.
The tour director in East Africa was extraordinary.
I had a wonderful time and the trip came up to my expections. I am really glad I went.

There were two Globus tour directors, one for Kenya and one for Tanzania, due to a political dispute (which I understand is now rectified as of 1 July 2019). There was a marked difference between the tour directors: the Kenyan tour directory was excellent but the Tanzanian (with something to compare to) was less so. Nevertheless, we did not feel there was any uncomfortable problem which we could not cope as experienced Globus travelers. However, there was a lack of complete information about the Zanzibar extension. One note from Globus stated that a flight from Dar Es Salaam should not be booked before 5 PM. Yet the flight transfer from Stone Town Zanzibar put us there at 12:30 PM with a 6 PM flight. Due to the short period we did not take advantage of the "day hotel" provided by Globus but if known ahead of time we could have booked a better flight to London than to go Qatar Airlines through Doha.
