Excellent tour- superb guide.
Guide in Israel was below our expectations.Guide in Jordan was very good and exceeded our expectations
Our trip to Israel and Jordan was exceptional. The 2 tour guides we havd were well versed, personable and always cheerful. The driver in Israel was wonderful, he interacted with the group, helped the ladies off the bus and was a wonderful driver. The trip into Jordan did not start very well, there was no one to meet us as we crossed the border, the driver ingnored us for almost and hour and then sice he did not know how many people he was picking up, went to leave without 5 people on the bus. The tour guide we weresuppose to have never showed up but the one we ended up with was great once we got there.
The bus in Israel was not to standard, no pockets behind the seats, half f the usb outlets were not working. The tour guide did not enforce seating rotation and at times there was friction among the passengers Highly recommend labels used by Trafalgar
My trip was fantastic, hotels, staff and guide your director was outstanding!!! Very happy with my trip, and will book another trip again we Affortable tours !
Our trip to Israel and Jordan was everything we expected and then some. It was a real adventure and a unique learning experience. One thing we would like to point out is that the optional excursion to Little Petra was a waste of time and money and should not have been offered unless you had an extra day in that location. There was so much to see in Big Petra that if one took the excursion to Little Petra you would have missed half of Big Petra. We were told what time we had to leave Big Petra to go to Little Petra and we decided it was not worth missing out on all that Big Petra has to offer even though we had paid for the Little Petra excursion months before. We talked to a couple that actually went to Little Petra and they said it was not worth it. I am glad we stayed at Big Petra even though we lost money. This should be told to future travelers or just eliminate this side excursion. We will be contacting Globus to request a refund. One should also be aware not to drink the water in Jordan except bottled water. Other than the above things went very well because the weather cooperated even though it was supposed to be colder and rainier. I would recommend people book their tour no later than the 2nd week in November. December could be very unpleasant.
They need a bus with clear windows and a toilet on board. On the Jordan part, no whisper boxes were used and really needed. Also, the rest stop at "Pillars of Jerusalem" on the Desert Highway had hugely inflated prices. We stopped there twice and the guide did not warn us. Overall, an excellent trip. Great value for the price. Wonderful, huge selection of food at the hotels. Having an Israeli Jew for a tour guide gave a great understanding of the culture, scripture and the country. I am so glad I did not go with a minister from the U.S.
After our stay in Tel Aviv, accomodations were mediocre, clean but nothing impressive. Our main guide was very good and informative, but the guide in Bethlehem was all about us spending money at one his jewelry and souvenir connections. The special dinners and lunches outside of the hotels we stayed at were mediocre.

The Israel trip was very enjoyable and informmajopre was very good. The accommodations were excellent and well located. The bus from a local agency (Mayatours) was a little cramped. The trip was made in mid to late February, and the weather was very comfortable. I was surprised by the number of tourists and there were long waits to enter the major religious sites. March-April and September-October are peak periods but the crowds will be much larger.
