BLENDING CULTURAL PROXIMITY WITH SOCIAL DISTANCE

There may be times on tour or on the motorcoach when social distancing is required. We will take care in assuring any local guidelines are followed in a safe and comfortable way for our guests. Globus will also ensure hand sanitizing is available throughout each trip, on coach and in hotels.

COMMITMENT TO CLEAN

As a part of Globus' commitment to clean, Globus is requiring enhanced cleaning procedures with hotel partners, on motorcoaches, vehicles and throughout every trip, including additional daily disinfecting procedures that go above-and-beyond already strict health and safety procedures.

PARTNERS IN DISCOVERY AND IN HEALTH

Globus has strict health and safety protocols, which have been in place for years, focused on ensuring all aspects of operation- from vehicles and equipment used on trip to excursions and hotel procedures. This process will continue with new, elevated health and safety checks, to maintain their promise that each touch-point on tours and cruises are considered in their commitment to guest and team member well-being.

Great trip and the tour guides changed the schedules to best fit our traveling locations and both Ossie in Israel and Osama in Jordan were exceptional tour guides along with Rueben our Israel bus driver. The Israel tour guide did not enforce the daily seat exchange on the bus but the Jordan guide truly enforced it. I would tell the tour guides to mention that seat belts had to be worn in the case of an auto accident. We also should have been told much earlier that we could have globus deliver us to the Ammon, Jordan airport and have a globus representative at the airport? The globus airport fellow also told us our binoculars could be seized if we could see, I believe, over 1500 meters in Jordan. No mention of binoculars in any correspondence with globus. I had a small pair of binoculars which thankfully were not seized! I would definitely book another trip with Globus.

Great trip. Guides were wonderful hotels great please have step stool on bus for passengers who cannot easily manage the large step to get on and off the bus. Wonderful trip

Guide in Israel was below our expectations.Guide in Jordan was very good and exceeded our expectations

Our trip to Israel and Jordan was exceptional. The 2 tour guides we havd were well versed, personable and always cheerful. The driver in Israel was wonderful, he interacted with the group, helped the ladies off the bus and was a wonderful driver. The trip into Jordan did not start very well, there was no one to meet us as we crossed the border, the driver ingnored us for almost and hour and then sice he did not know how many people he was picking up, went to leave without 5 people on the bus. The tour guide we weresuppose to have never showed up but the one we ended up with was great once we got there.

The bus in Israel was not to standard, no pockets behind the seats, half f the usb outlets were not working. The tour guide did not enforce seating rotation and at times there was friction among the passengers Highly recommend labels used by Trafalgar

Our trip to Israel and Jordan was everything we expected and then some. It was a real adventure and a unique learning experience. One thing we would like to point out is that the optional excursion to Little Petra was a waste of time and money and should not have been offered unless you had an extra day in that location. There was so much to see in Big Petra that if one took the excursion to Little Petra you would have missed half of Big Petra. We were told what time we had to leave Big Petra to go to Little Petra and we decided it was not worth missing out on all that Big Petra has to offer even though we had paid for the Little Petra excursion months before. We talked to a couple that actually went to Little Petra and they said it was not worth it. I am glad we stayed at Big Petra even though we lost money. This should be told to future travelers or just eliminate this side excursion. We will be contacting Globus to request a refund. One should also be aware not to drink the water in Jordan except bottled water. Other than the above things went very well because the weather cooperated even though it was supposed to be colder and rainier. I would recommend people book their tour no later than the 2nd week in November. December could be very unpleasant.

Cindy, thank u again for taking care of our travel needs from start to end. This tour was all impressive with two areas for further improvement: Parorama Hotels for the first two stops were rather outdated, All Marriotts were of top quality. Our Israel tour director was rather abrupt in customer handling and lacked energy and was not clear in instructions; Jordan director was outstanding. Nonetheless, we always enjoy Globus services. Airport transfer support was excellent. We are looking forward to next one.

Disappointed with Globus not notifying the hotel change that caused inconvenience and aggravation upon arrival in Telaviv after 15 hour travel, taking more time with transfers to one hotel to another. Globus tried to make up their mistake by reimbursing taxi fares for hotel transfer. The changed hotel quality was far inferior to expected and compared to the rest of nights hotel stay. Israel portion tour guide was a disappointment that acted more like strict teacher rather than a tour guide. Pros: Jordan's portion tour guide was excellent that made the trip enjoyable. Hotels quality was excellent in Jordan compared to Israel portion.

This was my third tour with Globus, We never had a problem and we were always very happy. On the tour of Israel, we lost our connection flight to Tel Aviv, and we arrived around 3 am, nobody pick up us from the airport. We took a taxi to the hotel that was listed on our package to our surprise that we were not booked for that hotel, we had to take another taxi and we arrive around 4am. the tour guide Mr. Zvika didn't leave any instructions for us and there were no blackboards next to the elevator with the schedule for the next day, so we didn't sleep and at 7 am we were looking for him, he didn't notice that we missed the the welcome dinner. The rotation on the bus was not respected, and this group of people from India took the front seats every day. When I told him he made fun of me saying why I want to be in the front if we were going to be walking. He didn't use a flag and was hard to follow him. His knowledge of the history was little. How important the guide is to the success of the tour? Questionnaires were given to the wrong people because he didn't notice they had names and no envelopes were provided. In general he was not a Good Tour Guide, he looked tired . Local Restaurants were no good. The restaurant St. Peter in the Sea of Galilee was very dirty . Everybody said that Globus sucks. The Tour Guide from Jordan , Osama, was excellent , very knowledgeable, attentive , kind and funny....earphones were missing. Globus has a reputation to maintain, so they have to give the same service on all tours, including the Escapes.
