Welcome to KrakówYour journey through Poland begins in picturesque Krakow. Meet your Travel Director at 17:00 for a walk around the Rynek G?ówny, Europe's largest and most beautiful town square. The Damsels and Dragons of Kraków Relaxed StartThis morning you can join an Optional Experience to visit the Wieliczka Salt Mine.In the afternoon ascend Wawel Hill to see the Renaissance castle with a Local Expert. Visit the cathedral, the final resting place of the Kings of Poland and the former seat of Archbishop Karol Wojty?a, later known to the world as Pope John Paul II. During its long history, Wroc?aw has belonged to Poland, Bohemia, Austria, Prussia and Germany. This was a perfect vacation!! We loved being on a boat and having one room to return to each night no packing and unpacking or hauling belongings from place to place. We were surprised how roomy and very comfortable our room on board was. Even the bathroom gave us plenty of room to move around in. And the boat itself was spacious, clean, and laid out with lots of thought put into the needs of guests. The staff onboard was phenomenal. They went above and beyond, always smiling, helpful, and spoiling us. Everything was clean, the food excellent and plentiful, and planned stops included keeping passengers safe at all times. Got my money's worth! This was a fabulous trip! American the Beautiful has a deeper meaning after seeing unimaginable beauty every mile of the way. The Tour Guide and Wellness Coordinator were fabulous, and you just can't find a better bus driver.
