  1. Day 1
    Day 1 - Welcome to Santiago, Chile
    On arrival at the airport, you’ll be warmly greeted and escorted to Le Reve, General Tours intimate and elegant boutique hotel ideally situated in one of the city’s finest neighborhoods. This afternoon, General Tours engaging native-born guide will show you the sites, culture and vibrant life of the capital. Your exploration begins with a walking tour through the historic city center, home to fine Colonial-era landmarks including La Moneda Palace and the historic Plaza de Armas. Continue through charming and peaceful city neighborhoods like Merced and Lastarria, and enjoy a guided stroll through Parque Forestal, a delightful urban oasis along the banks of the Mapocho River. Take a break in one of the nearby cafes and finish your sightseeing atop San Cristobal Hill, famous for its sweeping views of the city set against a spectacular mountain backdrop.  Tonight, join a local chef in his home as you prepare dinner together, and exchange stories over a lovely meal with wine.  Meals D
  2. Day 2
    Day 2 - Onward to Patagonia
    Fly to Punta Arenas, where you’ll be met for an unforgettable overland journey to Patagonia Camp. South America’s finest luxury camp is set on Lake Toro, facing the granite peaks of the Paine Massif. Nestled in a beech forest, each of the 20 yurts features an en suite bath and private terrace. Your stay at Patagonia Camp includes many uniquely planned expeditions, from easy to active. Each evening, the Camp’s experienced guides and naturalists will present the three included explorations that will be offered the next day - based upon weather and terrain conditions. Depending on your personal interests and physical condition, you can choose from these full and half-day guided excursions. They encompass gentle hikes, invigorating treks and even kayaking and fishing. In addition, horseback riding, boating on Lago Grey and Zodiac expeditions to the Serrano Glacier can be arranged.  Meals B+D
  3. Day 3
    Day 3 - Adventures in Patagonia
    Enjoy your first of two full days exploring Patagonia’s soaring landscapes and pristine waterways with General Tours Camp’s expert guides and naturalists. You might venture deep within Torres del Paine National Park or join an exclusive activity closer to Camp. Each evening, the Camp’s staff will present the excursions to be offered the next day. They’re led by General Tours Camp’s superb naturalists, so you’ll learn much about Patagonia’s geology, flora and fauna. At the end of each thrilling day here at Patagonia Camp, you might relax at the bar with a Pisco Sour or a glass of fine Chilean wine before dining with  breathtaking views over mountain and lake.  Meals B+L+D

    Day 4 - Another Day in Patagonia

Our tour guide was the best! He was knowledgeable about the country, always early, courteous and made us feel welcome in his country.
