Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Most disjointed excursion we have taken with Globus - multiple buses/drivers. Not as happy with Globus as I have been on previous trips. There was no attempt to introduce each of the group's participants to eachother. We enjoyed this on previous Globus tours. Basically skipped the Cotwolds, which was in the description. After complaining, we got a quick detour, drive-by, glimpse.
The hotel location was excellent, convenient to visit various sites, but our room was no good. We had no sunlight, could not see the sky, the lighting system was useless, etc. For room upgrade they wanted GBP 50 per night! That's too much.

We did not get to the Cotswall area advertised because of a route change decision. It was not due to weather or any other reason. When we pointed it out to our tour guide, she had the driver make a correction on the next leg of the trip and then pointed out the area through trees without stopping, so we really saw none of the area especially if seated, as we were, on the other side of the bus. The bus rides were enormous, like as much as 8 or more hours in a day, with minimal commentary, no movies of what we were about to see or on history of the country to make the drive go faster. We really never met the people on our tour. On the first day, we went to a restaurant, sat in multiple sections not necessarily near each other, and ate terrible food. At the end of the trip, there was no meeting each other to say goodby. Just got off the bus. The last day was on our own. We had no maps pointing out places to eat in the area. We were on our own. We bought theater with dinner tickets through the company. The play we picked was great, but the restaurant and theater were not that close to each other and the meal was awful. I have been on Globus before as had others in our group. We all said this was the least well run tour of any we had been on in the past, and that we would be hesitant to take another Globus tour if this was an example of the current quality of the company.
