Relaxing days and fascinating knights. That is the appeal of the ancient island of Rhodes, famous for its brilliant azure waters, its Acropolis-topped village of Lindos, and its fortress-lined Old Town built by the Knights of St. John during the Crusades. This exhilarating land and cruise tour of Greece, starting with our 8-day Classical Greece vacation, includes Rhodes in the island-hopping fun that sets sail from Athens and follows a captivating course to modern Mykonos, unspoiled Patmos, medieval Rhodes, Minoan Crete, and serene Santorini (weather permitting)—with a special stop on the Turkish coast to see the amazingly preserved Greek, Roman, and Byzantine excavations of Ephesus. See the iconic sights of mainland Greece—including Athens’ monumental Parthenon and the legendary town of Olympia—before you cruise into the blues on this tour of glorious Greece.

Of all the tours I experienced, Classical Greece was the best if you like history.

Just wish we had a little more time at lunch. We were only given 45 minutes which made us rush our meal and gave us no free time to look around the area on our own.

The trip was great, but was quite strenuous as there as indeed a lot of walking/climbing that was at times challenging for my mother at her age. The weather was also quite hot, not that had anything to do with Affordable Tours or Globus, but we had wished that there was some type of beach or swimming excursion during the trip as we missed out on visiting any type of beaches in Greece.

I have used Globus and affordable tour 3 times now and have been very please each and every time.

The GLOBUS staff was extremely knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. Their attention to detail was superb. The itinerary was aggressive, but allowed us to see "all of Greece." Unfortunately there was little relaxation time other than the bus rides from one site to the next. The staff anticipated our needs and ensured our vacation was executed to the best of their abilities.

Our tour guide was Incredible. Knowledgeable friendly, always available to answer questions. I have been on many tours. He was the best one!! Joan

The excursion in Athens referred to as Dinner by the Sea was a disaster. First of all they closed the shades so you had no view of the sea or the yachts. The food was at best mediocre. They crammed everyone tightly together , twelve to a table, while the room was not even halfway full. Worst of all, the temperature in the room was well into the eighties. Everyone was complaining about the heat but the restaurant did nothing about it. This was our fifth Globus tour so I believe we are good customers. I want a refund of my 128 euros. We had much superior meals for less than thirty euros on our own there.. I really felt ripped off. I have already told my wife that we should look for other tour companies in the future if our request is denied Ron

Our tour manager Elena was great! She is very knowledgeable on her subjects. She is patient and efficient. The local tour directors are knowledgeable and courteous.

Transport to/from airport should be included

My wife cried in awe of the acropolis, and the beauty of Santorini

I was disappointed with the dining hall. I felt herded through the meal if I went alone, forced to sit with strangers and wasn't allowed to choose a table that would allow other members of our group to join me. As a result I ate most of my meals on the Lido deck. I did enjoy the drink package.

The ship was somewhat outdated and needed sprucing up. The food was just average, but the staff was excellent. Would have liked a better flight to avoid 5.25 hour layover in Amsterdam. I'm sure there were non-stops from Houston. Globus should provide information regarding the difficulties of the tour. The Parthenon trip was very difficult for many people due to the slipriness of the terrain and lack of hand rails.

We had very knowledgeable guide. She made our trip interesting. Our tour director had been very attentive to the needs of the group and made sure we are comfortable. Our trip went smoothly due to his organizational skill.

Our Globus land tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable about the archeology, history and culture of Greece. She was also accommodating and resourceful in assuring we had positive and memorable experiences. Our tour bus driver was skilled and efficient and whenever possible went ahead to unload our luggage at the hotel so it was waiting outside our room upon arrival. Our cruise tour guide was helpful, pleasant and attentive to our needs.

Globus tour experiences were fabulous. Affordable tours answered all questions accurately and were very professional!

This was a fabulous tour with Globus. The hotels were fabulous. Tour directors were amazing.

The group size was way too large. Food on the cruise was mediocre. The included dinners were all at hotel buffets...boring. The tour guide was exceptionally good.

Bad food in fact unhealthy food that made me sick. Three families were put in one taxi. We had to literally sit on our luggage to come, yet we paid the full price of one taxi per family. I definitely expect these to be addressed properly.

Everything was on time- guides and drivers very good. Ship at port ahead of time. Staff helpful. BTW the tour bus was Mercedes Benz.

Globus tour guides, local guides, meals, excursions, hotels, ship, value and etc. were all great. This was our seventh Globus trip and I'm sure there will be more. Thanks a million.

The tour directors we had were just great! Both were very organized and caring toward everyone.

Thank you for a wonderful experience....start to finish !!

Was a trip of a life time. Affordable Tours and Globus were excellent in every way. The trip was a lesson in history plus outstanding vistas. I would recommend to anyone wanting to go to Greece to book this tour. Job well done!!

Overall a great experience. The Globus tour was wonderful, both guides, land and cruise were wonderful, hotels were really nice, the itinerary perfect.
