Excellent itinerary. Excellent Tour Guide

Globus Tours was amazing. I plan on using them again.

This was my 5th tour with Globus. All were excellent and looking forward for another by Globus when time permits. I have recommended my friends about Globus Tours to try one.

The tour provides a very nice overview of Switzerland. It moves along fairly quickly, but in most cities there is free time to explore independently. Time on the coach is not excessive and the scenery makes that time well spent. The optional gondola excursion in Zermatt delivers good value for the price. Zurich is only briefly covered, but we stayed 2 pre-nights and had fun exploring on our own making use of the public transportation system. The Zurich hotel is the best we have ever stayed in on a Globus tour (very spacious, comfortable, modern rooms and extensive breakfast options) and although it is in a non-central business area it is very convenient to tram or train and the neighborhood is less hectic with good food choices a few blocks away.

The best of Switzerland exceeded our expectations in every area. Every place was well chosen, and timing was efficient. We beat the crowds and always felt that we had a great itinerary and schedule. Our guide, Valeria was exceptionally knowledgeable, but also compassionate, funny and quick witted. We would love to travel with her again! Thank you!

The tour was wonderful. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and our driver was amazing, getting us through the narrowest spots with ease. Itinerary gave a perfect blend of structured and free time. Will book with Globus and Affordable Tours again soon.

Riley and Affordable Tours did a great job. Globus did not. We have taken 5 previous Globus Tours. Our tour guide was the worst we have ever had. Some of our accommodations were great while others were horrible.

the only thing that I would like to see changed is to have all travelers with a group have a name tag or wear something around their necks so we could know who our traveling companions are.

This tour was absolutely amazing! The only thing I would change would be the hotel in St Moritz, the hotel staff is rude and makes you feel rushed, but other than that everything was fantastic!

Cheap Dinners 3 out of 4 nights "Chicken" some fake. Denied breakfast eggs ordered, "Globus doesn't allow" in Zermatt hotel. St. Moritz, a waste of time, no tour other than the optional one that got cancelled due to weather. Lack of an included tour each day. Meat loaf lunch at farm stop was compressed sliced "meat" that you needed a knife to cut. Not my mothers meatload! Got an email from Globus offering a $100 credit p/p as our trip reward for next time. NEVER EVER AGAIN WITH GLOBUS!!! Gate 1 for less and better food. John

Very enjoyable tour. The tour director and driver were very pleasant and knowledgeable and were genuinely concerned about your well being.

The pace of the trip was a bit busy for us. Next time, we'll look for a "leisurely" pace tour.

We expected a tour with a leisurely pace. Cannot remember if advertised as such anymore. Incredibly rushed pace and very long days. Tiring. Enjoyed but would not do again.

Our tour director and driver was very attentive and made sure we had a good time. Driver was very skill driving over mountain passes and all the curves and bends keeping us safe. Director always kept us up to date with daily info. We had a wonderful time.

We provided to our guide, Valery, our impression of the trip as follows: It was a great trip, one our best. Valery was a real joy with her sense of humor, her organizational skills, and her knowledge of all we surveyed. We could not have been more pleased with her - and with our driver, Franco who drove splendidly and had a great attitude.

Excellent tour director, very energetic and helpful. Always ready to help and answer any questions. The overall tour was very good with well thought out points of interest.

Native Tour director will enhance learning and travel experience. This trip is good but if the duration is longer and include visiting important places like Geneva and Basel, it will be much better. This trip needs to improve providing historical and cultural experience. City walk Tour was too short and was done too quickly.

Globus is a great choice.

This was our first escorted tour and first trip to Europe. Everything could not have been more perfect. Affordable Tours did a great job helping me to get this booked and all my questions answered. Ireland next!

I purchased the Optional Excursions from Globus. One particular one (Trummelbach Falls) failed to indicate that it was a SUPER STRENUOUS ativity with up to 700 steps. I am really disappointed in Globus and would not book any optional excursions in advance, if I ever go with them again. As a Senior, I rely on their accurate descriptions.

Two European tours now with Globus and both have been extremely good. Guides and drivers are excellent.

Traveling to Zermatt and seeing the Matterhorn is such an overwhelming experience and it cannot be photographed, nor adequately described. It is an experience of a lifetime...!

We have taken very few bus tours so don't have a lot to compare. The hotel in St. Merits was below our expectations.

I wouldn't book the carriage ride again. It wasn't worth the money paid. The excursion in Bella was ok, but I wouldn't do it again. Breakfasts were cold, even the first ones at 6:00 am. Tour director and bus driver were excellent.

This was a very expensive but beautiful vacation. I think the customer should be cautioned in advance that Switzerland is quite expensive!!! Also, most of the best venues cost extra on this trip. The tour director was knowledgeable. The driver was exceptional in terms of skill/safety driving in the mountains.The breakfasts included were very good. I probably could have gone without some of the included dinners and if had the option would have preferred one of the additional side trips included instead. Some of the hotel locations were in noisy areas and we should have been told in advance that many hotels in Switzerland do not have air conditioning.

Our tour guide was exceptional. We have done 6 Globus Tours, this was not my favorite, maybe least favorite.

Great way to see most of Switzerland in a short time. Hotel Laudinella in St. Moritz was a disappointment. Better quality nametags would have been helpful also showing traveler's homes. If the fellow travelers would agree, a list of travelers with contact info could be given out to everyone. This would help to bring the group together more easily. The tour director and driver were excellent in all respects. Tour director was very knowledgeable.

This trip to Switzerland was my fourth tour through Globus and I will be going on a Globus tour to Italy in October.

This was a wonderful tour and we felt we received good hotels, food, and destinations for the money.

The Best of Switzerland tour was excellent and met my expectations. The Tour Director was excellent. My only complaint is that the hotel rooms in Montreaux and Lucerne were unclean and not air conditioned ... the weather was hot. For the price paid, hotels should be upgraded.

This was our 2nd tour thru Affordable Tours and we have been happy with the service on both.
