The Croatian tour was phenomenal. We saw so many lovely places, each seemed to top the last. Not a lot of bus riding, and we had time to explore on our own. We did a lot of walking and at times it was fairly strenuous.

We had the perfect tour operators. Both were absolutely great to make my trip pleasurable. They went above and beyond her line of duty to explain all the city history and information about all cities we visited. And I can't stop talking about how much they made everything pleasant.

The accommodations were all great as were the hotel breakfasts provided. City tours also were enjoyed.

We would recommend this Croatia trip. The time we took was perfect weather. The hotels we stayed in served excellent varieties of food for Breakfast and Dinner. One does not need to have heavy meal for lunch. The hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating. Helena, our Tour Director is great and wonderful. She attended to our needs and very knowledgeable in the places we visited. She made sure our safety and the comfort of our travel. Truly professional and extremely helpful. She is great.  We would like to do it again combined with a River cruise.

Globus quality has decreased. The included tours that were led by local guides were too much information. We stood in one spot for 15 minutes listening to history that we wouldn't remember or be interested in. After that we would be turned loose to figure out what to do. At times the weather was raining buckets so we still had to try to find shelter. We didn't need that much shopping time. Hotels were very good to sub standard.

Everything went as expected, even better.

Rooms changed by Globus at the last minute in Opatia (Villa Continental instead of Grand) were below expected standards. Leaking sink, broken shower handle holder and cup holder in the bathroom. Mold/mildew along the bath tub. In another hotel (President Hotel in Split) no hot water for a while on the day of arrival and next 2 mornings. Some of the day trips were difficult for people with knee, hip or heart issues. No such warnings were given in tour description.

I must admit I was a little disappointed with the Hotel accommodations and Buffet Breakfasts in all but two cities. Based on two prior trips with Globus, both to Spain & Portugal, the Zadar & Dubrovnik Hotels were the only ones that lived up to the Globus standards I had experienced in the past. Everything else about the trip was truly outstanding. I was also disappointed with the last minute changes to my flights. I did not allow me sufficient time to log into the airlines website and pre-select my seating assignments.

Our tour director, Rudolph, was born in Germany so he has first hand knowledge of the country. He is very organized, professional, caring and respectful. He kept us entertained especially during the coach drive with German stories and music that were relevant to the town or city that we were in or driving through. We returned home with a electronic compilation of German stories, poems and music that Rudolph put together. It is a meaningful memento for us. Once again, Globus provided a well thought out vacation experience with first class accommodations and entertainments.

Fabulous Croatia tour. Highly recommend. Tour guide was wonderful. Great vacation!

The hotel in Split was the worst we have stayed in Europe, and we've been traveling there 25 years. There is too much emphasis on the optional excursions to the detriment of the included excursions. The day is planned around the optional excursions instead of the other way around. The pace is not moderate. Very fast paced. The local guide in Pula was terrible, we may have well skipped it. The tour director and driver were very professional. All other aspects of the tour, hotels and locations were good. After this experience we realized we will never do an escorted tour again.

Loved the trip and will use Globus in the future.

This was a perfect trip to take with my mother.

Croatia Tours are a must for all travelers. Beautiful Country and people.

This is a fast-paced tour with lot of walking & climbing which was fine with us but some on tour had difficulty mobility wise. For us it was an amazing trip through many breathtaking sites. Our tour guide was terrific.

The "President Hotel" in Split, Croatia, should be removed from Globus's future booking for the reason that there are just too many "deferred maintenance" items. Everyone complained after stayed. For example the AC/Heating Unit must be turned off by the Reception employee. I opened the top cover and found that the filter was full of dirt/dust. It has never been cleaned/replaced.
