Question: What is the name of the cruise line?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The land part of this trip was very good. It would have been helpful if Globus had disclosed the time spent on the bus traveling from place to place. Some of the bus travel was excessive. Further, the olive-wine stop was very disappointing, and I for one do not like the inclusion of shopping stops on my travel itinerary. Regarding the cruise: The food was excellent, and the accommodations were fine. But the crowding was horrible both on the boat and on the excursions. The stops at Rhodes and Santorini could only resemble the New York or Tokyo subways during rush hour, replete with pushing and shoving by rude tourists mostly from other countries. I would NOT recommend this cruise. The guides and tour directors were excellent.
A reconsideration for the optional excursions to include the local community and their heritage, for example, a Turkish Bath, or dining at a local restaurant. Some of the excursions were not worth the money charged. Some of the free time should be extended a little longer, instead of 45 minutes perhaps an hour and 45 minutes in towns that are populated and active not closed for the afternoon or deserted. There should have been a longer time in Turkey instead of four hours. Wyndham Hotel should be eliminated from the place to stay. Yes, the view was beautiful, but the staff was rude, the service was slow, the pool area was only cleaned at night and not constantly maintained during the day. We had to locate a waitstaff member for additional pool towels, food service etc.,this should not have happened. When we arrived our bags were not delivered in a proper amount of time and we then had to get them ourselves after waiting 45 minutes when they said they would bring them up immediately. Even if someone arrives early or extends their tour, Globus should still provide travel to and from the airport at no charge. Also, if you are connecting two or three tours together Globus should also provide free transportation.
I was informed of a few optional excursions well in advance of the trip, then informed of additional optional excursions near date of departure. When our trip leader on the cruise ship spoke with us, he informed us of our optional excursions which omitted some of them. I did go to the excursion to Delos for 74 Euros. It was definitely not worth the cost - for 30 Euros it would be acceptable. The included excursion to Oia on the island of Santorini was not an excursion at all. Our leader took us there and dropped us off to go shopping for the next two hours. Thant is NOT an excursion. 45 people on the land portion is way too many. I was never informed of the number of people in advance. After a while most of us were getting tired of seeing ruins and museums although some of them were worth seeing. Just needed more variety. I expected more of a tour on the islands - instead we were dropped off to go shopping or could find our own way around to go to various places if we wanted.
Globus tour guides, local guides, meals, excursions, hotels, ship, value and etc. were all great. This was our seventh Globus trip and I'm sure there will be more. Thanks a million.
The tour directors we had were just great! Both were very organized and caring toward everyone.
Overall a great experience. The Globus tour was wonderful, both guides, land and cruise were wonderful, hotels were really nice, the itinerary perfect.

This was an exceptional tour of ancient Greece and the 7-day island cruise. Both the land and cruise Globus tour directors were knowledgeable, personable, accommodating to passenger needs, full of energy, and exhibited a wonderful sense of humor which made the trip FUN! The only negative would be that from the time time we booked the tour there was basically no information or details imparted us regarding the cruise portion of the trip. We couldn't budget until we started the cruise.
