Tour Itinerary

It may come as a surprise that the beloved Irish tune “When Irish Eyes Are Smiling” was written by a trio of American songwriters. That’s the moving influence of this enchanting and captivating land. So, when are Irish eyes smiling? At every moment on this undiscovered tour of Ireland – as you stroll down the lively streets of Dublin, sip Guinness in a boisterous pub on the Dingle Peninsula, take a horse-drawn jaunting-car ride through the Killarney countryside, and even bake scones on a quaint Irish sheep farm near Galway. By way of the most dramatic coastal and pastoral scenery, this tour of Ireland leads you to the lesser-known gems of the Emerald Isle as well as the cliffs, castles, and famous crystal you’ve long heard of. As you hum along the winding Ring of Kerry and the rocky Aran Islands, this tour of Ireland “will steal your heart away.”

Tour guide was exceptional. He was knowledgeable about Irish history, and the specific places we visited and was able to answer questions about the tour. The air line lost my luggage in Heathrow and he was instrumental in getting it in a timely manner. His good humor and ability to include 28 different people into a cohesive happy group was exceptional. The driver was the best driver I have ever experienced. His skill, good humor and personality made what could have been a tedious drive at times a delight. These two should be commended for their ability as valued employees of Globus.

An excellent choice of tour to restart traveling after the long Covid delay!

Globus did everything they could to make our tour successful! We enjoyed the Emerald Isle itinerary and although there were a couple of changes due to renovations or COVID Closings, the operator tried to substitute the best that they could. We had someone sick on our tour and I also thought that they did the best that they could to take care of all of us.

Very high quality guide - informed, personable, attentive, responsive to people's interests and needs.

Tour guide and and driver where both pleasant and where very knowledgeable! We loved our tour and enjoyed our visit to Ireland. I would have enjoyed maybe fewer excursions and more time at some of the stops. We were very rushed at times, even not getting to have lunch one day. We enjoyed the more intimate visits like the pub evening. The singing excursions where nice, but maybe one too many. I would have liked to spend some more time in a smaller town, have a cuppa and a bun. In all, we had a blast.

The trip was a great experience. It was very informative, and we enjoyed it a lot. All entry tickets to venues was supposed to be paid However, that was not the case for a couple of stops inclused in the tour where we had to pay the entry tickets. I consider this a glitch that should be eliminated in the future.

Just returned from a 10-day trip to Ireland and it was simply AMAZING! Everything we thought it would be and more. Thanks Affordable Tours for fabulous trip experience!

I would encourage my family or friends to take this trip. We picked it because it went to specific areas and smaller towns. It was everything we expected.

Everything was top notch and our tour director made sure there were no problems or snafus.

This trip was !st class Lodging was actually better than expected the Guide was experienced and knowledgeable

Excellent tour guide and excellent driver

This tour was our first experience with both Globus and Affordable Tours. Our Affordable Tours representatives guided us through the registration, insurance, and other processes well. Globus provided an excellent guide and wonderful driver! The bus was quite comfortable, as were the hotels. We would recommend this tour to anyone interested in visiting Ireland.

This tour gave us an excellent overview of Ireland. We enjoyed it very much.

Wonderful trip..better than expected

Everything was great and first class. Air Canada Rogue terrible airline.

The itinerary and package were less expensive had I gone on my own to travel to the same locations. The accommodations were excellent. The Staff were professional at all times. The tour guide was well prepared and took care of us each step of the way. The Bus operator was excellent and handled herself well on the open roads and in the crowded cities.

This was a great trip. The hotel accommodations were exceptional, the food good and the additional excursions were worthwhile except for the Dunguaire Castle Banquet. You sat on stools, the food was not good and definitely not worth the money paid. The only other negative was the description of visiting the Blarney castle. We were lead to believe we could visit the castle, which you can BUT there is an additional cost associated with it. This was very disappointing and I refused to pay the money to see the Blarney stone. Otherwise a great trip, had a fantastic group, an exceptional tour guide and a superb driver. Definitely worth the price.

The hotels were exceptionally nice. Would you believe we had the same tour director 18 years ago with Globus?

Our trip to Ireland was full of beautiful experiences, from the picture-postcard views of castles and round towers, the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, and the Ring of Kerry, to explorations of pedestrian cities with their mixtures of old architecture and new museums and shops. The countryside, from coastal views to pastoral midlands, is a feast for the eyes!

A wonderful trip. There were no problems of any kind. The tour director was considerate, kind, helpful, and professional. The same goes for the bus driver. They did everything possible to provide us with a happy experience and a sense of understanding of the country, the people, and it's history. Everything was done efficiently, but with enough time allowed to absorb the sights and sounds.

We had a wonderful tour of Ireland. Just what we hope for except one day of rain at Aran Island. Our Tour Director was outstanding in every way. She knows her stuff and made the tour. Our Coach driver did a really really nice job of getting us where we needed to be and was so accommodating with our luggage.

Fabulous trip to Ireland. It all was made easy through the help of our agent. So pleased

The trip to Ireland was even more than I expected. Things were well planned and executed efficiently. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and extremely humorous. I learned so much about the history of Ireland as well as geography. The rooms and food that were part of the package were wonderful. Thanks so much for all the work that goes into planning a trip like this. I take away great memories.

Way too much time allowed (wasted) for shopping; would prefer more included guided tours rather than free time.

It was a lovely tour and I had a wonderful time.

It was a wonderful package. the Bus driver and the Tour Guide were awesome, the absolute best!!!! I had a wonderful time.
