Tour Itinerary
Rolling hills and rugged coastlines, mythical creatures, and elusive monsters, quiet fairways, and boisterous bagpipes, this tour of Scotland is a study in stark contrasts among the most beautiful of classrooms. Hitting the highpoints of the Highlands from Glasgow to Edinburgh, you’ll cruise on beautiful Loch Lomond, ferry to the dramatic Isle of Skye, and visit the home of golf, St. Andrews. More lush landscapes await as you search for the mysterious Nessie along the banks of Loch Ness, stand before the famous Glenfinnan viaduct featured in the Harry Potter films, and swoon over the 13th-century Eilean Donan Castle nestled on a tidal island and featured in numerous films. If green means go, you have the go-ahead to pack your tams, tartans, and knickers for vibrant and verdant Scotland.

Trip was great, enjoyed the whole itinerary, Marge was extremely knowledgeable and funny, she made our trip so much fun!! Our driver Graham was the best driver I have seen, he made it thru some narrow roads and tight spots, he is an exceptional driver!
The interaction and expereience witth Affordable Tours were professional, and met expectations.
Did NOT like the required seat rotation on the bus. The meals provided were below my expectations as were the rooms. The number of travelers in the group were too large.
I had an amazing time on the Bonnie Scotland Globus tour. The itinerary was great introduction to Scotland. I've found the places that I want to go back and visit more in depth. I think that having an awesome Tour Director (Ana) and Driver (John) made it for a more enjoyable experience being on a coach tour.
Customer assistance was very helpful when I missed my connecting flight in Newark due to delayed departure in Phoenix. Was not impressed with United Airlines especially when I later found out the plane sat on the tarmac until 9:20 p.m. due to weather conditions. They knew there were two of us who arrived at the gate shortly after it closed; could they have not gotten us on the flight since it was also delayed?
Some of the hotels were only fair
The itinerary was excellent! We've been to Scotland many times, and this tour, though considerably shorter than we've ever taken, included SO many of the highlights we wanted to repeat AND also some highlights that we new to us.
The Bonnie Scotland tour was a great way to see the different areas and locations around Scotland.
Affordable Tours was great and the itinerary was great. Unfortunately we had a terrible tour director.
Missing is group Pictures! Excellent services!!
The hotel on the Isle of Skye was really bad. My daughter and I had to share a full-size bed, plumbing was inadequate, and some of our tour group slept in closet-sized rooms. We were not informed that liquids and solid cosmetics had to be in separate plastic bags in carry-on luggage or that liquids leaving the UK were limited.
Traveling with Globus makes the trip idiot-proof for a single traveler.....Great trip, great guides and terrific bus driver!!!!
The only thing I didn't like is that the travel agent sent my documents to my co-traveler, not to me.
The first night in Glasgow was not good, because we could not sleep till 1AM due to loud music at hotel for their event. Nobody can help this situation. Very unpleasant and sad. Also, the hotel and breakfast cost quote for additional 4 days are too expensive compared to what I got.
This was my third tour with Globus. Very happy with them.
The Royal Arms on the Isle of Skye had a mildew problem. I did enjoy the rustic atmosphere, but I'm very sensitive to molds and mildew so I was somewhat uncomfortable. Other than that everything was terrific.
had a great time - loved seeing Scotland - especially the Highlands!
the rooms were booked as a couple, with double beds, they were reserved as two singles. tour guide and bus driver were fabulous, highly recommend them

This tour was great. The only thing I would change is to iimprove time allocation to spend more time at the castles and allocate less time for drinks. This was particularly true for the excursion to Dunnatur castle.
