Tour Itinerary

Explore the captivating canyonlands and experience spellbinding landscapes on this unforgettable National Parks tour! You’ll start and end in Las Vegas, and overnight along the way inside Grand Canyon National Park; near Monument Valley in Kayenta; near Lake Powell in Page; Bryce Canyon National Park; and St. George, the most important Mormon community in southern Utah. Highlights of this National Parks tour are your visits to the Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Zion National Park. You’ll stay inside Grand Canyon National Park, giving you the opportunity to see a stunning sunset over the canyon. If you miss sunset, sunrise is also spectacular! In Bryce Canyon National Park, you'll be amazed at the bright red, yellow, and pink pillars called "hoodoos." Enjoy the beauty and peace offered at Zion National Park—with its massive canyon walls ascending toward the blue sky. Rushing streams over millions of years have carved these steep canyons and stone towers that will mesmerize you. You’ll have plenty of time here to explore the park, join a park ranger, or take a leisurely hike. But that’s not all…you’ll also visit Monument Valley, one of the world’s most photographed places with its pinnacles of rock surrounded by mesas, buttes, shrubs, trees, and windblown sand. Have your camera ready for some spectacular shots during your 4-wheel-drive tour of mystical Monument Valley and its massive formations. Visit Navajo National Monument, and view artifacts of the villages built by the prehistoric Puebloan Ancestors that date from 1250 to 1300 AD at the Visitor Center. You’ll also visit Glen Canyon Dam—the country’s second-highest concrete-arch dam—which holds back Lake Powell, the country’s second-largest man-made lake. Offering stunning scenery, this National Parks tour designed for value-minded travelers should not be missed!

Tour director was great. He gave us a lot of information about the sites that we saw as well as the history. He was rather amusing also. Driver was wonderful helping with our luggage and making sure us seniors got out of the bus safely. He also did a great job driving us to our destinations.

Exceptional Tour Director and Bus Driver who provided a first-class experience.

The trip to the canyonlands exceeded my expectations. I loved the national park chosen for this tour. The tour director exceeded by far in excellence, commitment and people skills. Very kind and caring. We had an emergency situation, which with the collaboration of fellow travelers and the driver she efficiently solved. Help everyone recover from the bad moment. The driver was very efficient and helpful.

Tour director and driver were great. Very knowledgeable and attentive tour director. Driver was always friendly and on time plus helpful with luggage.

It was a good tour. We had an excellent tour director who gave us the best commentaries on the places visited including some history. He made the tour well worth it. It was relatively short since it was only 7 days to see all the parks and monuments. The best part was visiting the Navajo Nation tribal lands where we have excellent local guides.

The tour bus was excellent, comfortable seating and climate controlled. Chris, our driver, was an excellent driver and knew where he was going. Never a bad turn or an unexpected stop. Great to talk to. Each day went as planned and explained in detail by Jeremy, our director. His knowledge of where we were going was exceptional and his knowledge of history and tradition of each local area added much to our enjoyment of the trip.

Excellent, knowledgeable and helpful tour guide Craig was amazing. Great tour for the money.

The tour was one of a kind. It was gorgeous to admire all the wonders of the nature at Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce, Zion and Red Rock Canyon. The tour manager and the drivers were couteous, dilligent, helpful, doing all they could to make everything pl

We enjoyed this trip very much and highly recommended. The tour director and drive were professional and well organized.

Cosmos did not deliver on all items in the itinerary. A road closure caused the issue for a few items and was not their fault.......Still we did not get what we were supposed to get on this trip. The last day we were suppose to visit Snow Canyon State Park. Cosmos did not do their proper homework. When we arrived at the park, we were turned away due to Columbus Day events taking place in the park. So, here's another item not delivered.....this definitely was Cosmos' fault.

On occasions trip exceeded expectations. Ran like a well oiled clock. Saw & experienced all I wanted and more. Thank you to all concerned.

Our first Tour, and it was beyond expectations. The tour director, Steve, was meant to be. He gave a bit of history about each Canyon, and it made it come to life. I went with idea seen one canyon...... Every place on our journey was unique. Staying at the Grand Canyon, not many people get to do that, time in evening for walking. When it came to the Navajo reservation, Steve gave us so much incite into their lives, I surely appreciate them more. Wonderful people, and fun jeep tours. Coming into Page, AZ, like an oasis. And Antelope Canyon into slot canyon, like no other. Happy to have the bus driver,, Tristan, doing the driving across the spans of desert. One big reason we took a tour, as we didn't wish to drive. He was always giving a helping hand off the bus. He knew the places to park, and drove us around by the Glen Canyon Dam; and around St. George to glimpse the town. Accommodations, perfect. The last BW in St. George is very new. I will definitely sign up for NW nps tours, and would be happy to have Steve and Tristan as guide and driver.

The tour was well organized by our tour director, and a good dliver was assisting our group.

I'm satisfied with the service and had an awesome experience. Look forward for the next one :) Thank you!

We HIGHLY recommend this tour; also the following optional excursions: Kayenta (Monument Valley) Western cookout dinner, Antelope Canyon Cruise and Antelope Canyon Slot Tour.

Great way to enjoy numerous parks and activities in a timely fashion.

Everything was perfect (even the weather!) However, you offered an optional excursion for the last day of our trip, which we purchased, to the Hoover Dam/ river rafting. When we got to the tour, we were told this wasn't possible as it was a conflict with the last day of the tour. Our tour Director, Craig, was VERY nice and did a lot of work to get us to the excursion, as my son was so disappointed when we were told we couldn't do it. In order to accomplish this, however, we had to pay out over $200 more, get up at 4:30am to get a shuttle, then a cab (which was very rushed and I lost my cell phone in the process...THAT cost me $800 to replace!) The excursion was EXCELLENT, however, we missed the last day of our tour to Snow Mountain and had to leave our group one day early. I booked this tour many months ago and feel that someone should have told me in advance that this was a conflict (your system allowed me to purchase this for this day.) I am also going to ask that we be reimbursed the extra money that we had to pay for this excursion, at LEAST. We are already interested in traveling again with this company, as the director and trip was excellent outside of this, but to be honest, we will not even consider it if we are not offered a reimbursement for this MAJOR error.

This was a wonderful tour. It was a little strenuous for my handicapped friend though. Sometimes the walk to get meals was too far for her. I would recommend this to anyone who isn't handicapped.

In the past, I didn't take any organized tours in the USA and Canada. Only to other destinations. But this tour offered many advantages to doing it alone travel through these national parks and monuments. I would recommend this specific tour to anyone visiting these places. Thanks to all, driver, tour director, and to Cosmos and Affordable tour staff.

Cosmos has policies that I disagree with. The driver was excellent. The tour manager did the minimum necessary. The itinerary could have been tighter, eliminating back tracking, and the hotel assignment of our rooms was a mess. I needed more bang for the buck. With 50 people, Cosmos was making a killing on this tour.

This tour was absolutely GREAT! I enjoyed the professional service received from the tour agent from Affordable Tours that worked with me to book the tour. She answered all of my questions via e-mail and cell phone calls in a prompt, timely fashion from start to finish. She was always accessible and posted messages when she would not be in the office, but left the times she would return. Also, if I left any voicemails, she followed up quickly with a personal e-mail or a call to my cell phone. The communication with her made planning for this trip easy. Next, the tour guide was professional as well, and did everything to make sure we got exactly what we paid for. The extra excursions were enjoyable as well and added something extra to the whole tour experience. While on the bus to various tour destinations, i.e. the Grand Canyon, Bryce National Park or etc., he provided educational, geological, and cultural information about the region. Also, he provide a couple of national geographic videos to enhance the visit to particular areas. He only requested that the tour group please try to stick to our departures times, in order to see ALL of the scheduled stops on the tour. Also, the bus was great as well as the bus driver. He was friendly, professional and never put our safety at risk when he was behind the wheel. The bus driver and tour director worked very well together. Lastly, I plan to book another tour with Affordable Tours in the future. I have lots and lots of photographs and videos to remember this great educational and personal experience. I would highly recommend that individuals, churches and educational institutions offer this type of tour for their respective organizations.

A budget tour that was worth the price paid, a 6 month old bus, that was wonderful, a over knowledgable tour guide, that always had a smile.. A group of 46 people from all over the world that got along...

We, my husband and I did not get to go on our trip as planned because our flight was cancelled. We then tried to make other flight arrangements to fly into Vegas, but unfortunately the tour guide, informed us that the bus would be ready to depart at the hotel at 8:00am and could not wait for us (We had four people in our group traveling together). We were only asking for the bus to wait maybe 1-2 hours, which we did not think unreasonable. We have been on numerous other bus tours where things have come up where our tour has been detained waiting for people on the tour. Just last year we had a tour in Germany and we waited in the airport for hours, as people coming in for the same tour had flight delays; which then meant that that initial day of sights were changed to accommodate for the late arrivals, now that is a caring Tour company to wait and not have the people coming in find their own way to catch up to the bus tour.............as we were told that we should rent a car or get a taxi and catch up to the bus.

Our tour director was fabulous, lots of great information, very organized and genuinely interested in all the people on this tour. The itinerary was well planned with plenty of down time if we desired it. We also had a great bus driver who happened to be from the area of the tour. We plan on booking Cosmos tours again.

Our tour guide was the knowledgeable and pleasant. Always trying to meet our every need. Cosmos tours are fortunate to have him as an employee.

We loved this tour. I only have 2 negative comments. Maswik lodge at the Grand Canyon has no air conditioning and the rooms were really hot but the views are spectacular. The other negative is the length of time we were given at certain stops. We don't need 45 minutes at one overlook so you have to have some patience. Otherwise, the tour guide, bus driver, hotels and scenery were fantastic and I would highly recommend this tour.

This was my 8th trip w/Cosmos. I usually book on a room share basis. This was the first time I\'ve ever been lucky enough to have a room all to myself w/no single supp. It was heaven and the tour locations were all spectacular.

I was very happy with my trip. it was a wonderful way of seeing so many different sites!

The tour guide was exceptional; he had a complete itinerary printed out for us that had the complete plan (time schedule, etc) for each day. At the end of each day, he also went over the next day's itinerary and was available at all times. One time my husband and I got lost on a trail going back to the bus. All we had to do was call our tour guide on his cell phone and he kept contact with us to guide us to the bus. He was very patient even though this through off his time schedule by about 20 minutes.
