Day 3
Berlin to PragueJust remember, with every great city we leave behind we find another one, and today we have Berlin in our vision. A drive from Berlin to Prague would not be complete without stopping in Dresden. Destroyed by World War II, the rebuilt town is now a symbol of resilience, soaked in the rebirthed beauty of an Opera house, the domed Frauenkirche, & the Royal Residence. After we cross the border into Czechia, our TM will guide us around Prague city and we'll waste no time getting acquainted with the castles, bridges, gothic cathedrals and picture-perfect charm.Accommodation: B&B Hotel Prague (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 4
PragueWe already feel on top form from all of the nutritious food we've been feasting on, and today's our opportunity to feel even better. Today grab a bike and take an included locally guided bike tour, or simply stroll the cobbled streets, getting stuck into Prague's famed cafe culture. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner in one of Prague's first (and might we say finest) vegan restaurants where it's all about showcasing high quality plant based meals that appeal to everyone, not just vegans.Accommodation: B&B Hotel Prague (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast Dinner -
Day 5
Prague to ViennaThank you and goodbye Prague. We're hungry for all of the vegan goodies that await us in Austria... Out of Prague, our first stop is the World Heritage-listed Kutná Hora. Make the local Sedlec Ossuary chapel high priority, it's decked out and furnished in the bones of over 40,000 ... humans. And trust us it's a must see in this part of the world. Another dreamy lunch stop awaits, this time in Brno. Here we'll find plenty of delicious vegan options. Who needs dairy? Czech this place out! Ahh Vienna...another day, another spectacular capital. Tongiht it's time for a yummy plant-based dinner that packs a serious sustainability punch - Habibi & Hawara. Their mission is to hire staff with refugee and migrant backgrounds to train them with the relevant skills to become successful entrepreneurs of their own. MAKE TRAVEL MATTER®Accommodation: Ibis Wien Mariahilf Hotel Vienna (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast Dinner -
Day 6
ViennaLet's make one thing very clear: if you want to make your whole day about eating your way through all the delicious vegan delights you can unocver in this classical city, we're not going to judge. Those who can drag themselves away from this heavenly situation may wish to pop by the Vienna Museum of Art or roam the streets on architectural observation. Tonight you have the chance to please your sense of sound with the classical music this city is famous for at a traditional concert in a real life PALACE. Mum would be so proud!Accommodation: Ibis Wien Mariahilf Hotel Vienna (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 7
Vienna to BudapestVielen dank, Vienna! We are officially in love with everything you are. We'd stay for another strudel but we've heard about these famous Hungarian chimney cakes dusted in cinnamon and we're a little bit intrigued... There's nothing like stopping for lunch in an entirely new country before moving onto another, this is Europe after all. We'll stretch our legs in the Slovakian capital with a stroll in the Old Town and come across it's famous statues. They all have a story behind them, and you'll learn about them all. Fun fact #1: Buda and Pest are two different cities separated by a river, together they make Budapest. Fun fact #2: You're going to be head over heels with both of them by the time we scoot outta here. After a satisfying day of sightseeing of both sides of the city, and all the sights you've seen or read about, down goulash and cabbage rolls on tonight's Danube cruise; you'll be completely in the Hungarian spirit of things by the time we dock.Accommodation: Ibis Budapest City South Hotel (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast Dinner -
Day 8
BudapestOpt to start your day with a relaxing soak in Budapest's world-famous thermal pools. As we kick back in the medicinal waters, we'll admire the Art Nouveau architecture and fall in love with Hungary even more. Then tonight is yours to discover more of the tantalising vegan foodie scene of Budapest.Accommodation: Ibis Budapest City South Hotel (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 9
Budapest to Krakow3 countries in one day - we can and we will! In no great hurry we will float out of Hungary with a sojourn through Slovakia (oh hello again) before we head into Poland for dinner. Ah, the life of a traveller. Pastel painted and manicured to perfection, Banska Bystrica is a lunch break that will charm you to no end. Make this a real box ticker by including Slovakia's favourite vegetable in your lunch - cabbage. Once the capital of Poland, Krakow is now known for its silver mining heritage and tales of mythical dragons.Accommodation: Vienna House Easy Cracow (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 10
KrakowA Jewish Quarter, a jaw-dropping castle & museums aplenty are just some of the relics found in the relatively untouched Krakow. The UNESCO World Heritage-listed centre should occupy your time with an included sightseeing tour with our Local Guide. You'll even see a fire breathing dragon, very Game of Thrones might we add. Beautiful old town square will leave you charmed and packed full of knowledge once the tour wraps up. What else? We recommend you try traditional Polish Pierogi (dumplings) - collective cheers as there are plenty of vegan options for these sweet and savoury treats throughout Old Town.Accommodation: Vienna House Easy Cracow (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 11
Krakow to WarsawThis morning we change our tune and take a moving stop at Auschwitz, the most infamous former Nazi concentration camp and a very sobering experience. We will change pace as we drop to an unfamiliar level by visiting the concentration camp memorials of Auschwitz & Birkenau. Learning and growing is what we travellers do. Perogies Polish dumplings and a glass of compote somewhere within Warsaw's lively cafe scene should be your introduction to this emerging European capital. As we pull into the city, just ask your Trip Manager for the best local hangs. We have all day tomorrow to explore, so there's no need to start whipping through the to-do list just yet.Accommodation: Moxy Warsaw Praga (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast -
Day 12
WarsawYou didn't think we were winding down now, did you? Gosh no. Not when we have an old Jewish Ghetto to explore and more mouth watering Polish vegan food to enjoy, and both are included. Tragic bombings after the war have seen this city experience a re-birth, and it's packed with museums, a buzzing street art scene, and cool vibes dotted with a dose of random to keep us on our toes. Your Local guide will give you the insider track as we take it all in on foot. A renowned musical city, keep your ears open day long and see what sound pleasures you also stumble upon. We'll treat you to one last plant based dinner tonight, as, wait for it, it's our last night on trip. And oh what a trip it has been. We've eaten, strolled and learnt more than we thought possible, and no doubt made some unbreakable bonds along the way - all while forging the path for Vegan travellers in Eastern Europe. Over dinner we'll reminisce on the good times!Accommodation: Moxy Warsaw Praga (or similar)
Meals: Breakfast Dinner -

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
We were lucky that the group of people with were good, but it was a large group tour and did have some of the downfalls of a trip of that nature, like frequent breaks for the bathroom, difficulty when eating out together, and getting things on and off the coach. The trip was still great and a good value for the money.
It was a good value and the experiences included were worth it. The only part that wasn't the best were the accommodations as it was hit and miss. Half of the hotels on the trip were okay, and the other half were really nice.
I had an amazing trip!
