Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Tour Director was wonderful. Accommodations were not centrally located and in some cases sub-par.
We had a great time on the trip, excellent tour itinerary and tour guide. One hotel was sub-par to what we've encountered in Trafalgar tours before. The second and fourth nights we had substituted hotels from those on the original itinerary; the accommodations for the fourth night, the Waterford Marina, were sub-par and not amenable to all the other accommodations. The restaurant food was not good, conditions were not that clean, and the room didn't offer what previous nights' stays had offered. I would recommend that Trafalgar not use this hotel.
The night we were in Waterford our hotel was changed for whatever reason from the one that was listed in the 'hotel info for family/friends' list. The Waterford Hotel was not a great experience. Dinner was served to the group but the table was sticky (and even after having it wiped down by the server, it was still sticky) and the utensils were filthy. Food was not good at all. This hotel was not up to Trafalgar's standards and should be eliminated as one of their vendors. The hotel was not built to accommodate large tour groups: the elevator only held 3-4 persons at a time. The best experience of the week was the dinner at the BallyKnocken Farms. Great meal!! Of course, the tour of the Waterford factory was unbelievable--what talent! Especially enjoyed the town of Killarney and the Celtic show.
Brendan/Trafalgar trips are the way to get the most bang for your buck and time!
