Questions & Answers Ask A Question
Question: Is this a bus tour? How large is the group on tour?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
There was an enormous amount of bus ride times compared to the 15 other bus tours I did. This is exasperated by the winding curvy roads on the west of Scotland and with regular slamming on the brakes by the bus driver. My least favorite tour ever.
Once again, Globus met and exceeded my expectations. I was very happy with all that was included in the tour price and found the excursions reasonably priced and enjoyable. The tour director was friendly and professional. it was going to be his last tour. The driver was skilled and professional. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of bathtubs in all but 1 of the hotels, but was very very pleased with staying in not one but two! Victorian era resorts across the sea from the ocean. So lovely. The country of Scotland is beyond beautiful and that Is why it was on my list to return. Thanks once again, Globus. I don't look anywhere else.
My Globus Scotland tour, Highland Fling, was amazing. Our tour guide and driver were both very capable and knowledgeable as we traveled around Scotland and into the Highlands. I loved every minute of this tour.
It is good to know that someone who is proficient in English can be easily reached. After a 5 year break in my solo travel to Europe, I was a bit nervous but all my questions were answered no matter how silly.
The trip was awesome! The tour guide and the bus driver were A++++ They both deserve 5+******. Daily, continuous, non stop. Hotels were nice, except for 1, but other than that, the trip was enjoyable. Nice group of people we traveled with. Overall I give this tour an A+... We will definitely be using Globus again. Thanks to John Scott for booking our accommodations and making necessary changes due to my brothers passing in the interim of planning this tour.

Overall very good experience with this tour. It was a fast pace tour-up early each day and late finish. Tour director was very knowledgeable and provided lots of historical information while we traveled on the bus and usually communicated well, especially set expectations. Bus driver was very good, courteous and professional. Only negative feedback was with St Clair hotel-no hot water in shower and last day, we felt very rushed. Dropped off in Glasgow city center for 2 hours and 45 minutes-way too much time- left us with only 1 hour, 15 minutes to check into hotel and get to dinner when many of us were leaving early the next morning. It felt very rushed. Should have given us the option to go back to hotel which was near a scenic walk near river. Other than that, overall very good experience.
