Question: Does your CA Classic tour include any meals? Do you have tours that include meals?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Very disappointing trip/tour. Day 2: Japanese Tea Garden was nice but really saw nothing else of San Francisco except from afar. Everything was on your own. Very inconvenient to try to "hop" on cable cars which were not close to hotel and had to be done in evening. Day 3: Wasted day - nix Lake Tahoe. Day 4: Visit to Yosemite National Park was enjoyable and glad we saw it. However, the Yosemite View Lodge was just plain terrible. Dirty, spiders, poor plumbing!! Day 5: I realize tour had to go back across state of CA but much too long a bus ride day, nearly 12 hours. UGH (Better to eliminate Tahoe & Yosemite on this itinerary/tour) Visit to Monterey Bay Aquarium was a disaster. "Special dinner" there was just awful (raw fish and chicken). Day 6: Hilton Garden Inn Pismo Beach Hotel dinner was definitely not what one would expect on a Globus tour and the dining room staff were definitely overwhelmed by our tour group. Day 7: OK stop in Solvang but other than numerous shops there was not much to see or do in this town. Did not come on this trip to do shopping. We did enjoy the stop at Santa Monica pier for lunch. Another long bus day. Day 8: As noted on website itinerary of this tour "see Sunset Strip and Rodeo Drive" is about it; from bus windows. NO stopping here. Extension: 3 days in San Diego were totally enjoyable. Loved San Diego. Our ne bad experience here was on " arranged" transfer to airport from hotel -- transfer vehicle did not show up in time to take several of us to airport. Had to take a taxi at own expense and because we waited at hotel for "arranged" transfer we had little time to spare before our departure flight. We are so very, very disappointed overall with this trip and Globus. We will do some long hard thinking about another tour with Globus stateside. In addition, we will scrutinize all itineraries on any future tours we contemplate.
