Loved our tour guide. He went out of his way to ensure everyone was able to do everything they wanted. He also added many personal touches that were thoughtful and added to the experience. We were disappointed Maper had the fire, but not disappointed in the trip.
We had an amazing tour guide and driver. There were a couple things that were better or worse than others but overall a very good tour. As mentioned, the guide made it really special.
We had the best guide. She went above and beyond. Part of our trip had to be canceled due to forest fires in Jasper. Our guide along with Globus was able to come up with great alternatives and accommodations at the last minute. It was unbelievable. We were fortunate to have such a wonderful guide.
Excellent trip
Very well done
Wonderful Globus Tour! One of my best vacations. Thanks for your help.
Very efficient itinerary
Excellent tour of the Canadian parks and Glacier Park. The tour director and bus driver were very professional and personable. Accommodations and provided meals were good.
Our Tour was the best, very organized! Hotel locations are great, within the city center!
The tour was everything we could have hope for and more. Both the Globus tour leader and coach driver were helpful and courteous. Our director is a real pro. He is extremely knowledgeable, very efficient, and also humorous. It was a pleasure being on this tour.
Our agent did a great job getting our trip together, answering our questions, and providing us all the paperwork we needed. This was a wonderful trip -- seeing all the wildlife we had anticipated except a Black bear. We saw a Grizzly with 2 cubs, Elk galore, long horned sheep, moose, chipmunks -- wonderful times! We would do this trip again if the opportunity comes along but will definitely use affordabletours.com again.
The Globus Tour was very good. Very professional.
The scenery on this trip was just breathtaking. The blue water in the rivers and lakes were just unbelievable. Accommodations were close to everything. Restaurants, shopping, trails.
This trip far exceeded our expectations!
The trip was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area we covered, and the driver of the coach was super. All the stops were great.
Excellent tour guide (Neela) and driver (Genesis). Small group option for this trip was perfect. Globus' tour included activities not a part of other comparable tour companies with similar tours.
The trip was well organized and the staff very professional.
Lynda Brown was the best tour guide imaginable with a wealth of info and excellent people skills. She managed to be firm when necessary to get cooperation. Best organizational skills we've seen stateside or internationally.
Great experience. I would like to travel with you in future. I am very happy with our tour manager. She helped me lots during the tour. Our driver was also very caring and cheerful in nature.
Great trip. Locations were beautiful. Travel director & driver did a wonderful job.
The Globus team was exceptional The tour director, Alma made the trip. She was extremely knowledgeable and the information she provided was so interesting. She had a great sense of humor and shared some great stories with us. Gerard was a great driver who was very safe and would stop for wildlife viewing. We saw everything I wanted to see and were with a great group of people.
Great trip
The Great Resorts of the Rockies Tour was amazing. The Globus tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and personable. He shared the history of the Canadian Rockies as well as information about the wildlife, trees, and plants in the area. The scenery was breathtaking. The resorts were beautiful. The staff at each hotel were friendly and welcoming. We are very happy we chose this tour.
The trip was as expected. We had rain almost every day but our tour guide was able to still show us all the sites and more.
The trip overall met all my expectations
This was our third Globus trip and were thoroughly satisfied.
We saw a great deal of beauty and sites. The tour guide was excellent. Did a few "additional" sites not expected. We missed Lake Louise on the first attempt...bad fog...but our tour guide got us back another day...it was beautiful this attempt. We had great accommodations. The group we traveled with were all very positive and fun too.
What the travel brochure could not describe was the fact that so many other tour buses would be making the same stops at the same time as our bus. So, a new bus, great guide and driver, but when almost 100 hungry people exit two buses at these isolated stops for lunch and washroom, it becomes less about the bus and guide and more about the chaos.
Globus does a very good tour . Thorough and professional.
This tour exceeded my expectations, Beautiful scenery, sights, & animal sightings. The tour director was not only professional & informative but entertaining & funny as was the driver. Some of the accommodations were worn, but these were mostly in national parks & expected where there were very limited hotels, however they were always neat & clean. All meals paid for by the tour were very good. Awesome trip!
This was only our second escorted bus tour and found it to be at least equal if not better than last year's tour. The tour guides were the very best - funny, so knowledgeable about any area we passed or visited and very caring.
This was an amazing trip! Sites were remarkable. Tour director was knowledgeable and very informative. Driver very friendly.
The trip was great; the guide was very good, and the driver was very good also. We saw some wondrous sites of creation in mountains, lakes and wild animals.
Loved the trip. Scenery was gorgeous.
Knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humor. He added a great deal to the success of the tour.
Our tour of the Canadian Rockies and Glacier was wonderful. If you have not been there, you should at least go on this tour. The Canadian Rockies are spectacular.
We chose this trip because it went to Glacier, in Montana. We were a bit disappointed. The Columbia ice field was better and so was Lake Louise. This was our 3rd trip with Globus. Our Tour Leader was Kaycy. Our driver was John. Both were GREAT.
The whole focus of the tour director was to make this trip profitable for each passenger. We have gone on 7 Globus trips and we just returned from the 9 day Glacier National Park & the Canadian Rockies (CS) trip.
This Canadian Rockies Tour by Globus far exceeded any and all expectations we had for the trip. Our tour director was astounding in both her knowledge and love for her country. Seeing Canad through her eyes made the trip even more special.
Francis was such a big help with all my questions. I'm sure I was a pain at times but he handled it well.
Patti and I had a great time on our trip. The optional trip in Jasper National trip was a high point. I have never seen so many waterfalls in one place. We did an extra day in Calgary at the beginning. We walked 13 miles around Calgary....what a beautiful city! Glad we did that. The first hotel in Calgary did not clean our room. We called to have it cleaned...did not happen. Patti's credit card did not initially work, so our tour director put her charge on my card....without asking me, He should not have done that and we had him take it off and try Patti's again. The tour literature said there would be WiFi on the bus. We did not. It is understandable considering where we were, but don't say there will be WiFi when there isn't.
Have booked five trips through Affordable Tours with Globus. Brilliant tours and all met or exceeded my expectations. The service I get is superb and reflects very well on the staff of Affordable Tours. Top notch!
Our group of 8 ladies enjoyed this trip so much! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the area and did so much to make sure we saw everything that was promised. The weather was bad on the day of our glacier excursion that it was cancelled but he stopped there again on our way back to Calgary to make sure we did not miss it!
Globus tour director was exceptional. Had to work alternative hotel and sightseeing at last minute due to forest fires in Waterton. Lovely scenery in the Canadian rockies, and hit all the highlights.
Everything that was described was what we experienced. Again no surprises.
Our tour guide was very knowledge about the area. We completed everything on the itinerary. It was a delightful trip. Thanks!
Food for vegetarians did not have any choice.
Globus did an excellent job.
The hotels and rooms were better than I expected. All breakfasts (buffets) and 3 dinners provided were really very good. I'm not a fan of tour buses, but the bus provided was always kept clean and neat. Both the tour guide and bus driver were excellent in providing services as needed and helped when there were problems or questions.
We have used Affordable Tours on 3 occasions and have been very please with them.
I traveled with my two sisters and we enjoyed our trip to the Montana glacier and the Canadian Rockies. Accommodations and included meals were as expected, very good. However the tour bus was no better than a Cosmos Tour bus. I enjoyed very much the optional tours. Our driver and tour director were both excellent. Looking towards another Globus tour.
Great tour and our tour director was the best ever!
The tour guide was not competent. She was constantly stressed and displayed that to us. She did not give us information on the geography or history of places visited. On my 4 previous Globus tours, I received a great deal of information about the areas visited. This is a major reason for choosing a tour rather than going alone. At one hotel, The Jasper Park Lodge, we were placed into substandard rooms. She knew this and did nothing to assure that her passengers got the best of treatment. Her information or instructions about anything we were doing was always unclear. I doubt that I will ever choose a Globus tour again.
Actually the Globas package was outstanding. We were extremely satisfied and would choose them again.
great host and guide. The food and accommodations exceeded our expectations.
The Globus trip Glacier National Park& the Canadian Rockies 2015 (CS5) was a fantastic trip. This trip has beautiful scenery one day after another. We enjoyed this trip so much we may take it again in the future.
There was a fire in Glacier National Park that caused us to change a few things. We were only allowed to take half of the Red Jammer tour . That was the only disappointing part of the trip. We really enjoyed the canyon walk (optional tour). The Columbia Icefield walk was the highlight of the trip.
Globus is reducing normal tour items included, such as dinners. Seems like less sightseeing is included, and more optional and expensive trips are added. The cutting of corners is not appreciated.
We usually have great trips with Globus! This trip was no exception!
the only negative comment i would have is that the o canada optional excursion is terrible...that is one offered in banff....not worth the $ ...food was terrible....show was ok but slow
My thoughts are for Globus to advertise this as a 7 or 71/2 day tour and not a 9 day as it is truly being misrepresented as 9 days. Also the tour director I had left much to be desired. Barely adequate, nothing ever said about tip or no tip to people that did side trips or scheduled on tour trips or suggested amounts or even if the tour company had the tips covered or not on the scheduled trips. To overlook this, the trip was great.
Our tour coordinator was very helpful and prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had about our trip. Everything met our expectations and more.
Our trip was wonderful. Our Tour guide was exceptional. She was cheerful, informative, and interesting. She did several things above and beyond. I would love to take another trip with her again.
The trip itself was better than I could have ever imagined. Every day was more exciting and beautiful than the previous day. The group was great--so was the food and the accommodations. Our Group Leader, was AWESOME AND OUTSTANDING.

Globus did a fine job reworking our itinerary due to the fires in Jasper National Park. We are thoroughly pleased with the trip and were very happy that we didn’t cancel. The tour director and driver were very professional and helpful. This was our 2nd bus trip with Globus and would certainly use them again.
