Question: Is the flight included?
Question: Why are there not more 2019 dates for this tour?
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
Riding bus from city to city is too long. Some hotels cannot give us good food, not even free water.
Rooms were as expected except for one otherwise the whole tour was wonderful.
All of the accommodations were in a very central location in each city, which made it really convenient to get around and explore after each day of activities was completed. The tour guide and the bus driver were both wonderful and helpful answering any questions. I loved every city that we stopped in, though the long drive from Barcelona to Madrid can feel exhausting.
Our travel guide Pedro was our guide in Portugal last year. He is excellent. It was a great group to travel with through Spain and Portugal.
This fast budget tour was good value with a knowledgable guide and sufficient activities included. It was overall as advertised, and the length was good for a large group that remained compatible. Two nights per stop is a good idea.
Hotels far from city center. Not enough free time during optional excursions.
The city tours were not up to expectations. The hotels in Seville and Lisbon were not that centrally located. The hotel room in Lisbon was the smallest room I've ever experienced with Affordable Tours. This is our sixth time we've booked a vacation with Affordable Tours.
This trip exceeded our expectations in every way!
Although alerted, we were disappointed with 2 twin beds put together. Never had this anywhere in Europe before.
Great time with Globus, Spain and Portugal were wonderful.
Vanessa was great answer and answered every question I had promptly......definetly no issue with Vannesa
I will not book with Globus again as my experience on cancelled / delayed flights were not communicated to tour director by Globus. Globus tour director contact information was not available by Barcelona hotel.
This was a wonderful tour. I would recommend it highly. Two things I might change. Our hotel in Barcelona was quite a way away from tourist areas. Myself, I managed using subway as I have travelled independently often. The other that I recommend is to add alcazar in Sevilla to the itinerary. It is a gem that many missed seeing

Our Tour Director was very knowledgeable, professional, and funny...Over all, Globus was a good company to tour with but there were a few hiccups: 1) The Globus booklet stated we would visit the Sagrada Familia, we did but the outside only. THIS WAS VERY MISLEADING. Had we known we were not going inside the church, we would have purchased tickets months ago and visit the church properly. Very dissapointing as it truly was the only place we visited without participating in any optionals. 2) The hotel in Barcelona---yes, it was clean, nice and the staff was friendly---it was in the middle of a residential area. We walked around (up & down) and not much was there. Wish it would have been more centralized to places to visit or at least to various local restaurants. 3) The drive from Barcelona to Madrid was 9+ hours long with only rest stops. Why not travel on the bullet train instead of the bus? A bus could be chartered from Madrid. We truly lost 1 entire day of vacation! If the train is not feasable, then why not offer one of the free dinners that night instead of an optional dinner? The drive was too long and exhausting and then to have to pay a heavy price for a party of 5? No, we did not.....In contrast, the drive from Madrid to Sevilla was long but we stopped in Cordoba for a few hours on the way; thus it cuts in the monotomy of being in a coach bus. Yes, it was a long drive but you don't feel it as much. 4) At times it seemed a little pushy on the optional tours. Actually, we were inconvenienced twice for not paying the extra money---in Madrid the Museo Prado tour seemed a little rushed because we had to leave for those going to Toledo. To add insult to injury, the bus did not drop off us off at the hotel! We had to walk quite a few blocks from where we were dropped off. This is not fair, we all paid the same price for the "tour". The second time was in Lisbon after we visited the Monastery of Jeronimo, again the tour was a little rushed, we toured the first floor only yet we could see people in the 2nd floor taking pictures from the balcony. Once again the bus could not take us to the hotel so the Tour Director paid for taxis for us and the others who stayed. This was better than the treatment in Madrid, but again, it was a rushed visit and my girls did not have the opportunity to go upstairs in the monastery. Overall, Globus seems to be a good tour company but I cannot rate it 100% or "Strongly Agree" for the reasons I have just shared. They need to re-think a couple of their strategies and remember that their customers flew a long way to get there.
