We enjoyed our trip European Escape. Our tour director was professional and very helpful.
Wonderful
My experience was very positive,
Very enjoyable tour. Excellent overview of the cities we visited and use of the time we had to visit the highlights each city had. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a taste of European cities.
This was an excellent introduction to Europe, seeing the highlights of northern Italy, Switzerland, and Paris. However, given the time crunch of seeing so many places in such little time, it was a little disappointing to only see parts of Paris from the bus. However, we now know where we want to return and to spend more time.
We were extremely fortunate to have just 25 in our group. Our Globus tour director was fabulous. Our bus driver was one of the best we've ever had. I was familiar with all the hotels except the one in Rome. Our accommodations were better than average and the locations good. The one thing I would stress is, this is a taste of 5 cities so your stays are brief.
It was a great experience to see France, Italy, and Switzerland for the first time with Globus. The Tour Director was great, at times funny, went above and beyond to assist any member of the tour group; knowledgeable about the area's history and culture, explained how things are done that are maybe different from the U.S. The driver was quiet, always had a smile on his face, did a great job with the luggages. Members of the tour group were friendly, made my experience more fun and enjoyable. I just wished there was a picture made with everyone in the tour group, also a name tag on each member of the tour group.
