Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The trip was outstanding
Trafagular is a know travel company in the business. Central Europe trip was good but not outstanding. Most of the hotels are 3 to 3.5 stars. Some hotels provide water and others don't. Food included in the meals is good but not great as well. Many optimal tours on the trip would be included on other tours, so its difficult to compare prices. . When the tour was delayed I got no message from Trafagular.
We had an awesome tour director and driver. They makes the difference. Nice group fron AU, NZ, CA and the US.
great trip
Trafalgar's included sight-seeing was very short - a couple of hours a day only. There were no included sight-seeing tours in Lake Bled, even though we were there for 2 nights plus one morning till noon. Everything was optional. The hotel in Budapest was very bad. When one adds the cost of optionals (too many), Trafalgar is not a good value. We believe Globus does a better job at a lower cost.
There were pluses and minuses: the bus had as little leg room as the current airline economy seats, so for the long drives it was very uncomfortable, even though we stopped every couple of hours. However, the bus driver was absolutely wonderful, and made that aspect of the trip stress free. The tour director was okay, but I've had much better ones with other companies. He seemed to be more concerned with telling us how much he was doing for us, which seemed to be basically the things his job required. At the end of the trip he left before the people on the trip were to leave, so if there were any problems, he was not there to help sort them out. The hotels varied, but for the cost of the trip were okay. If one did all the Optional Experiences, the cost of the trip would be much higher. It was surprising that some of the "Optional Experiences" were not part of the trip, such as in Berlin, a visit to the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint charlie was an Optional Experience. Also the highlights of Lake Bled were optional, at additional costs. Given my exceptional experiences with Overseas Adventure Travel and Adventures Abroad, it is highly unlikely that I would travel with Trafalgar again.
The bus driver was outstanding The bus seats were more uncomfortable and smaller than airplane seats A couple of the city tour leaders were excellent A few times on the bus, we were subjected to movies and music. The bus should be equipped with headphones, so we don't have to listen if we don't want to Breakfasts were outstanding Included dinners were mediocre The optional experience in Berlin should have been included. Those sites were too important to miss. The tour director didn't provide enough optional directions for our free time (and left before any of the tour attendees on the last day). The trip was worthwhile as a taste of those cities and countries, although it would have been nice to interact with the residents (probably not possible on a trip like this). The The change of hotels in Vienna was disappointing. The hotel in Lake Bled was lovely.
The trip went well and very enjoyable. Some parts were expensive particularly when alcohol was included. Would have preferred keeping the included drinks to one and then allow people to choose to pay extra for what they want to drink.
Tour director was very knowledgable driver was also nice i will definitely will go with Trafalgar
Best travel experience ever!
What we saw and experienced was beyond expectations. A very well-planned and conducted tour. Highly skilled tour director and driver. Special area guides also very good. This quality across the board was quite unusual. Of course Trafalgar deserves some credit here.
The trip was excellent. The tour director was very good. The hotels were also comfortable, clean and conviently located. Everything was well organized. We were impressed. If we decide to take a bus tour next time we probably will take again the Trafalgar and will ask Affordable Tours to help us.

I found everything about the tour to be exceptional, except the distance of the hotels from the main city sites. Walkable hotel locations are very important to my husband and me.
