Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The only thing I would recommend is the hotel in Guanacaste is advertised as a beach front hotel. The rooms we had were across a very busy street on the opposite side of the beach. Perhaps reflect that in the description of the hotel so travelers can make an informed decision. Also, we are a family of four and we got rooms on two separate floors - the concierge said we had to make a special request if we wanted our rooms side by side. This had not been the case for the entire tour, except for this extension. There was no porter service, we had to transport our own luggage on the date of departure. The entire trip exceeded our expectations. I had high expectations of our beach extension, but was disappointed.
The accommodations were mostly excellent but I chose agree because there were two places where we stayed that had the best those towns could offer. Being in equatorial towns with limited access to electricity or the philosophy of the owners either didn't provide air conditioning or sub par rooms. However, this is understandable based on where we were. Hospitality and food excellent.
Excellent variety, excellent guide and bus driver. Enjoyed contact with local people (be our guest) and businesses which is somewhat unique. Bus a bit cramped, accommodations generally lacked in-room internet. One accommodation had no AC. Side tours very good and saw lots of beautiful nature. Most days were paced well.
THe Costa Rica Trip was great! Our tour director German was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. This tour exceeds my expectation.
