Shortly before jumping on our ferry for France, we’ll be taking in the English coastline beauty of the White Cliffs of Dover, that owe their colour to a composition of chalk. Off the ferry we arrive in the port town of Calais - French soil! We travel north via Belgium before reaching ... Amsterdam! Home of good times and cuteness galore. Fun fact: the city has 1539 bridges, 165 canals, and 2500 house boats. Yes, you read that right, and it's all here for you to explore. AmsterdamNYE in NL? Free day in A'dam? Time to dig out your bucket list and tick it all of this morning. Afterwards, we’ll hit the town to bring the New Year home in style. We were lucky that the group of people with were good, but it was a large group tour and did have some of the downfalls of a trip of that nature, like frequent breaks for the bathroom, difficulty when eating out together, and getting things on and off the coach. The trip was still great and a good value for the money.
It was a good value and the experiences included were worth it. The only part that wasn't the best were the accommodations as it was hit and miss. Half of the hotels on the trip were okay, and the other half were really nice.
I had an amazing trip!
