My sister and I had an amazing time during the whole tour of Fatima, Lourdes, and the Shrines of Spain. We felt safe during the whole trip thanks to our tour guide and our bus driver. Thanks to them and their professional experience, we got safely to all our destinations and learned so much about the history of each place we visited. What a blessing it was to be able to share delicious meals with other tours travelers. The servers were very polite. God bless them for all their hard work! The hotels were very good. Cleanliness is next to holiness and that is how I describe each hotel we stayed. We were so fortunate to have been able to sleep in lovely rooms and take a hot shower at the end of each day. Every hotel provided excellent rooms, food, and service to my sister and me. My sister and I feel very Blessed for this once in a lifetime opportunity to make this trip. Thank you Affordable Tours.com and COSMOS for making our Pilgrimage a dream come true. God Bless you
Was a wonderful trip and the tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable. The driver was very profesional and helpful
The trip was very good and meet my expectations. I will book another trip with Cosmos and Affordable tour again.
My wife lost her luggage for 4 days, The food was not so good on some hotels. The Flamenco excursion with dinner is not worth 80 Euros. I should NOT have joined. The seat rotation in the bus is NOT very organized. All pilgrims should have name tag on their shirt so it is easy to remember the names We should have been allowed to bring normal size hand carry instead of the very small hand carry, they said it will be placed under the seat.
Awesome excellent service from the travel agent, Linda to the Tour Director Jorge, the Tour Guides and Tour Driver Virgilio. This trip was beyond our expectations, we immensely enjoyed the places, hotels, meals and even the weather was fantastic! Our Tour Director Jorge made me understand and learn more about the history of the many churches and saints, the Blessed Mary and Portugal, Spain, France, Santiago de Compostela. It was like an entertaining seminar while watching the scenic views !
I strongly agree for what was written above excep for two accommodations VIP executive Entracampos is Lidbon Portugal-this Hotel is so dirty. Pls don't use them again Paradis Hotel in Lourdes France -food is awful Thanks
The tour exceeded my high expectations, primarily due to the superb tour guide.
The driver Sergio and the guide Zsolt very professional and always make us feel that they care about us every moment.
We feel that the trip was of good value to what we paid for but we were disappointed with some of the accommodations because of location. Most disappointed with the fact that they changed the Barcelona hotel without telling us before the trip and the new location was an industrial location, so inconvenient to access the main city. The only compensation was, the tour guide and driver did their very best for us to have access to food as much as they can so we can at least be able to eat at a decent place on our stay in the most awaited city to explore which was Barcelona. Despite trying to give us time to visit Barcelona, it was not enough to make the most of the visit because of the location of the hotel they chose last minute.
Very satisfied, beyond expectations, Best tour director and tireles tour driver we ever had..
It was a truly value for money tour! We were able to visit places that are significant to the Catholic faith ( Fatima and Lourdes shrines, st James Cathedral in Santiago de Compostela, Bom Jesus do Monte sanctuary, etc). The Sagrada Familia and Montserrat were just awe-inspiring and magnificent!! Our tour director Jorge was very helpful , always looking after the welfare of everyone in the group, as well as knowledgable about the places we visit. The bus driver , Santana, should also be commended for his professional driving skills. He even went the extra mile by lending me some money during one of those stops when I told him I forgot my bag in the bus and was planning to buy some snack. Well done Jorge & Santana!! Good job Affordabletours!!
This trip far exceeded my expectations. I will certainly and am already looking into planning another trip!
The hotels were fine except for NH Hotel in Barcelona. Cosmos did not tell us that we were transfered from Ibis to NH Hotel. There were thieves inside the hotel by the elevator. 2 of our companions lost things, a whole luggage and expensive sunglasses, Ipad from their bags. In the middle of the night most of us heard knocks on our doors. There was no doorman, porter or security cameras. We did not feel safe in that hotel and most of us wanted to transfer to another hotel because thieves were mingling with us by the elevator.
Tour guide was amazing as was the bus driver. My only complaint was with our last hotel in Barcelona which was in a very seedy area. On check-in to this hotel a fellow passenger had a bag stolen as we waited to get on the elevator. The person who stole the bag came into the lobby from the street. I don't think Cosmos should use this hotel in the future, even though it was very close to our departing airport. Aside from this, the tour was fabulous.
The good things first: My compliments to the Tour Director and Bus Driver on the tour. They far exceeded my expectations and on the whole the tour went as presented with a couple of comments: 1. It was difficult for me to participate in some areas of tour sites which I could not negotiate because of my age and a weakened knee. I inquired about this with I checked with Affordable tours about physical requirements and was told the tour sites would require only moderate physical ability. Please provide a description of physical activity required in your tour brochures in the future. Many of the sites did not offer easy access and I could not negotiate stairs easily. 2. The NH Hotel left much to desired in the services provided. It is situated in a 100% industrial complex with little or no security. On our check in night while waiting on elevators,to rooms one of the tour participants had a bag stolen by strangers who walked into the hotel lobby and took a bag. and ran into a waiting car. outside main hotel entrance.. There were no bellmen to help with luggage. Some of the air conditioners did not work and there were no facilities for lunch other than in vending machines.
This trip was definitely a pilgrimage, meaning that the accommodations were barebones, nothing fancy. Still, that is what we expect on a pilgrimage. Our guide, Enrique, was fantastic, as was our driver, Alberto. The bus was comfortable. Would definitely book with Cosmos again.
Your tour director and the driver were excellent!
By far, this was one of the best tours I have ever been; thank you all!
We had a wonderful time on our Faith Based tour of Portugal, Spain and France. We had wonderful stops in Fatima and Lourdes and Barcelona, plus many other interesting places. . Our Tour Director was terrific!! Hotels and included excursions were very meaningful. It is a great trip!!!!!!!!!
the most organized tour I ever attended.
The tour was well run and well done.
This was a great tour, pleasant experience. Steve, my travel consultant was always there for me, I called several times before the trip, he patiently explained everything in details. He is excellent, looking forward future booking. Our Tour Director Estefania was excellente, she had everything very organized, all the hotels, all the dinners, very concerned with Luz's allergy to shellfish at the different places we ate, and in many occasions she went of out her way to make our experience even more exciting, like the reservation to Mass at the Sagrada Familia, or the initiative of the pilgrimage passport, to have it stamped during our WAY: KUDOS for her!! and the driver Pedro very courteous, made us feel very safe and secure during our trip. Overall this trip was beyon our expectations. Thank you
Jorge was a wonderful tour guide. His knowledge about the countries we visited made the tour very interesting. He went above and beyond for everyone on the tour.
It was a wonderful experience. The Tour Director was really professional and very knowledgeable and very accomodating. We look forward on booking another tour - perhaps another faith based tour with Cosmos.
