Tour Itinerary

That calendar you live by—the one with 365 days divided into 12 months—you can thank the ancient Egyptians for the handy invention that helps you manage your time. In this 13-day vacation, you’ll marvel at many other amazing accomplishments of this remarkable civilization. The daunting Great Pyramids, the enigmatic Sphinx and the extraordinary temples of Luxor and Karnak are well worth the journey as are the sparkling treasures inside Cairo’s Egyptian Museum, including the fascinating burial items from the opulent tomb of “King Tut.” As you sail down the legendary Nile from Luxor to Aswan on this enthralling tour of Egypt, you’ll also stand in awe at the Kom Ombo Temple, barter for goods at the bustling bazaars, and sway to the rhythmic drums on a relaxing felucca ride down the Nile. But the adventure doesn’t end there. Your desert dreams awaken even more mystery with the treasures of Jordan—from 4-wheeling in the red landscapes of Wadi Rum where your camp feels close enough to reach out and touch the stars above, to the spectacular sandstone monolith of Petra that conjures visions of Indiana Jones and ancient rulers resting in the ancient sandstone tombs of the Treasury. Sip tea in the ancient traditions and soak in the ancient sites surrounding the Dead Sea where some of civilization’s earliest history was recorded amid the horizons where Moses saw the Promised Land. A Bedouin experience to rival ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ in color, scope, and sheer beauty.

I have traveled numerous times with Globus and I am very satisfied with their service and tour packages. I also have recommended Globus Tours to family and friends, and they tell me how grateful they are for the recommendation. Globus make travelling an unforgettable experience. The hotels are beautiful and modern. The activities are exciting, and the places visited are fantastic which makes a trip memorable.

This Globus Independent tour of Vietnam, Cambodia and Bangkok exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed the included itinerary, and the optional excursions were exceptional. The tour guides who cared for us in each city were top of their profession. We learned so much and they were fun, caring and extremely helpful.

Some rooms lacked A/C and hotel gym.

We had a great time on this trip!

Iguassu Host/Guide didn't speak English very well. Said he had learned English two months ago. He was prompt and courteous but didn't totally understand everything we were asking and discussed. All the South American destinations we had difficulties with communications when dealing with the locals (not guide or host). There appears to be less people that speak English than in Europe.

Affordable Tours was easy to work with and helped me make my trip what I wanted it to be. Globus Tours provided well managed trip to Portugal -our guide Beatriz was very informative and gave us an inspirational time exploring almost all of Portugal -the experiences were unforgettable, and I loved learning about and experiencing Portugal!

This was my first trip with Affordable tours.  Iwas very impressed. I personally didn't appreciate that I had to fight with multiple suitcase and having to walk long distances. Future trips i will definitely pack light because of all of the walking and transferring from plane, bus and trains.

You cannot beat Globus Escape tours for the price. They've become more and more popular as this is the 2nd or 3rd time they've opened a parallel tour to go with the one we've chosen. This tour was fast paced and would give a first time visitor a taste of the area. Globus tour directors are excellent and all of the hotels were located conveniently.

Super trip. Great tour director and super coach driver! We had a significant weather issue outside of their control and they did an outstanding job to deal with situation! Sites, hotels etc great!!

Some of the hotels were outdated but accessible to the city center. So you are trading one option for another.

Everything and everyone was great. Tracy and Francesco are the best tour guides I have ever met.

We had good tour director Mauricio. My only comment was that we booked it as a smaller group however we were integrated with a bigger group in total we were 24 in the group good thing the people in the tour were really nice people.

Karen is so helpful when booking our trips.

Ines was fabulous. Pedro was an excellent driver. I always felt safe.
