Questions & Answers Ask A Question
Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?
Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?
The tour guide was delightful..her concern for the women and men on the tour was extraordinary. I came with my daughter and her husband and they had never been on a group tour. She was pleasantly surprised about knowledge of the tour guide and how nice the hotels were. I would certainly ask for Martini if I could get her.
We had a wonderful Gate1 8-day tour, which included a 4-day cruise. The cruise itinerary was outstanding, allowing us to explore various Greek islands, including Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos, Kusadasi, Crete, and Santorini. These locations were incredibly beautiful and awe-inspiring. Our tour director, Pamos, was a fantastic guide; he was knowledgeable about the islands' history, had an upbeat personality, a great sense of humor, and always made sure everyone in the group was feeling good. The cruise line, Celestyal Cruise, operated a lovely ship that offered numerous entertainment options while on board, and the food was excellent. Most importantly, the crew provided outstanding service. We plan on checking the other destinations offered by this cruise line and look forward to cruising with them again in the future.
China trip is an experience of a lifetime, great country beautiful people, our tour manager (Susan) professional and accessible, the food was plentiful and delicious. If anything to improve the experience is more time on land on the river cruise itinerary and land tours included in the price; all of the tours were optional at extra cost.
Rooms were not up to the standard. The bathtubs were too high. It was difficult to get in and out. There was water accumulated when we took a shower at some hotels like Renna and the staff was very rude to fight. Very disappointed with this trip.
All the staff were very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful on the cruise.
Our tour manager was excellent. He really took care of our needs. He is also very knowledgeable, friendly and energetic.
This was a wonderful tour. Our tour guide, Julie, was fabulous, & went above & beyond in being incredibly helpful & caring for everyone's needs during our trip! And Germany was great!
Gate 1 Tours we have taken are great experiences at an affordable price!
More expensive than average. Many issues with hotels and dining. Food was below average from what you used to provide and this is a more expensive trip.
Everything was great, the tour manager was exceptional, choice of sites and hotels was very good. No complaints at all.
I have only one comment. The bus we use should have a mini toilet to use for urgent # 1. It was a real problem for me as the toilet sometimes was 3+ hours away. People with health issues can hardly make it!!!!
Would skip Rabat but all else was spectacular!!
I was very happy with the Tour Manager and Driver. I would definitely book another tour with Gate 1 Travel.
It was a well organized tour. Didn’t realize how advanced China is. Tour manager and local guides were outstanding.

There were several hotels that did not have air-conditioning. It appears that is typical in Switzerland. The hotel windows did open so the room did cool down late at night.
