Questions & Answers

Question: Can we upgrade to a sleeper cabin for two people

Unfortunately, there is no option to upgrade to first-class for the train on this itinerary. There may be another itinerary that has this option. Please give us a call and speak to a travel consultant so they can give you more suggestions. 1-800-935-2620.

Question: What type of sleeper cabin do we have on the train?

All long distance trains are 2nd Class Kupe Soft sleepers. These are 4 berth compartments that have lockable doors.

Question: How many suitcases can I take with me on my trip?

Each person is allowed one "check-in," and one "carry-on." Remember to take all valuables with you as "carry-on", because electronic equipment, cameras, laptops, jewelry, business documents and money are not covered by the airlines' liability, so always carry them aboard with you.

Question: Is Airfare Included in the Price?

Airfare from your point of origin to and from the trip is not included in the land price.

We were disappointed with this trip. The hotel rooms were of low quality. The tour manager gave us minimal information along the way. We felt like the price we paid was excessive given the quality of the experience. Very few meals were included. The train accommodations were of very low quality. We would not recoil it.
