This summer I enjoyed the 9 night Bermuda & Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean, from Cape Liberty, NJ on Anthem of the Seas.

Embarkation was quick and smooth, and the luggage was at the cabin door as soon as I got there. First day was spent exploring the ship, getting to know our dining options and all the fun things to do.

The sea days were spent at the pool and at the Seaplex – the largest indoor sport/active area. Here you can enjoy basketball, roller skating, bumper cars and table tennis. One of the ship’s main attractions is the North Star, where you stand 300 feet above sea level and have a breathtaking 360 degree view. Another fun thing to try is RipCord by iFly – a skydiving simulation experience.

King’s Wharf, Bermuda

One of the top beaches of the world – Horseshoe Bay is just minutes away from the port. It has pink sand near the water line and turquoise waters. Snorkeling near the rocks can quite rewarding. Just a few yards west is Horseshoe Cove. The cove is surrounded by big rocks which isolate making it ideal for kids to swim in the shallow and calm water.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Close and convenient, the water taxi from the cruise terminal is an easy access to Great Bay Beach. From here, we took a taxi to Little Bay beach which is just a few minutes away and less crowded than Great Bay Beach. We enjoyed the sun, the blue water and a Jet Ski ride.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Here we decided to have a relaxing day at the beach. We took a taxi ride to Isla Verde beach – just minutes from San Juan where we enjoyed the white and soft sand and warm clear waters.

Labadee, Haiti

There were several dining venues offering a selection of BBQ, grilled hamburgers, hot dogs, fresh fruits and vegetables, and refreshing drinks. Also bar service is easily available throughout Labadee. We all enjoyed a relaxing afternoon in the sun while floating over the gentle waves on a beach mat at Columbus Cove.

This Bermuda and Caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean was one of my favorite cruises.
