This was a fantastic voyage. Exceeded our expectations. 8 passengers - Sweden, UK, Scotland, US. 5 crew - very skilled helpful. Accommodations were great. Small but adequate cabins with good storage and private bath/toilet/shower. Lower larger-double bunk and upper single bunk. Good fan and ventilation. Good outside areas with comfortable lounges, beach chairs in sun or shade. Beach and bath towels provided. Wet bag was recommended - not needed - just a small day pack works. The food was unbelievable: always fresh veges, fruit, pasta, breads, omelets, chicken, beef, and mostly fresh caught fish, tuna and others that the crew caught on the trip! All the water one wanted, no charge. Booze and juices pricey. A beer $5 USD. Wine, vodka, other drinks available at a big price. Daily generally we would cruise for awhile after breakfast, then snorkel, lunch, cruise, snorkel and/or visit an island, some inhabited others not. Plenty of time to relax and read. No internet. All snorkeling, no SCUBA. Many beautiful fish, turtles, rays, nice sharks and unfortunately mostly bleached coral. Mostly very clear waters. Snorkeling 2-3 hours per day. Provided snorkel gear good. This is a great way to see the Maldives. Not stuck at a high-priced island resort that costs plenty and lots to get there and more to go for a day trip to snorkel or see other islands. Our CEO, was fantastic, explaining so much about the Maldives, the people, the culture, the history, the environment and guiding us in the water pointing out eels, turtles, etc. Captain was also amazing as the boat driver, second snorkel guide, fish filleter, and crafter of palm decorations. Cook, could prepare anything and always tasty and nutritious. And he surprised us with a couple of birthday cakes, for two special birthdays. The other crew, were always there to help, clean our rooms, serve the meals, reprep our snorkel gear, ferry us in the dingy to a reef or an island, etc. If you like sun, beaches, snorkeling, warm waters, boating, etc. this trip would work, for sure.

A tale of two trips. Sri Lanka sucked. Bad tour guide(CEO); Maldives wonderful. Boat was much better than web site showed, Toilets in every room(Thank God). Packing list was too extreme i.e., bring water bottle; ship had bottles of water. Took too much junk on packing list. Boat needs slip proof floors in shower. Wife fell and suffered injury. Day room in Na gumbo cost $100.00, but listed on Trivalgo for $37.00. GAdventures charged too much, but with a 0300 hrs arrival, the bed was great.
